The previous owner mentioned never changing the cabin filter for the time he own it. Glad I looked or I would have not known it used two individual elements instead of one. My thanks.
Replace both filters as part of regular car maintenance. Don't bother trying to clean or wash old filters, they are $20 each or less. If traveling regularly on dusty, smoky (forest fires) roads replace more often. Avoid parking under pine or cedar trees which drop fine needles into windshield/wiper drain which collects inside cabin filters, clogging them as shown in video.
