binge-watched all 3 seasons in 2 days, this series kept me hooked. the characters development and acting are great. the plot just keeps adding questions that keeps you watching for more. worth the watch!

Dude, I remember my dad watching this show for like an episode or two but he turned it off. I was so young I didn’t know what was happening but I tried to find this show for the longest time. Thank you for making this
I rarely binge watching a show below rating 8. But this show was exception. I really enjoyed it. Every actor has given his/her best. I'm a hard-core sci-fi lover, so this was pretty well and balanced show for me. It keeps you engaged, no use of poetry or chit-chat, director has just kept track of straight dialogues. There are some flaws,but instead of thinking about negative reviews, watch it.I strongly recommend it to SciFiction lovers...

Getting anything above a 7 on IMDb is a fucking miracle. A 6 on IMDb would be an 8 anywhere else, and 8 to 10 is mostly just different ways of saying "it's a 10". It's when a movie has a 5 and lower that you should worry. People are a lot more harshly critical of movies and shows than any other medium.

The mini series was ok, but if you really want to enjoy Under the Dome, read the book. It's more graphic and descriptive. If you're like me and visualize everything while you read, the movie playing inside your mind is 100 times better than the mini series.

This was the first show I ever watched all the way through while it was running. I was absolute fascinated by the concept, and I’d never been so invested in a sci fi mystery before

I know a lot probably didn't but then they didn't really get the series.
It was really well done some parts sure had their ugh, moments but not as much as you'd think.

Long hospital scene and many outside scenes were shot at the retirement home and with everything going on, someone should give those ppl a credit. They were so sweet and patient, from caretakers to old people. I almost forgot about it but your comment reminded me. I'd be so grumpy with all the noise and inconvince.

I watched this when it aired on TV - i was eager for a new episode each week. all the actors were phenomenal! I loved it!😍 I'm kinda sad it didn't get as much recognition as i thought it deserved - would've loved for another season too!
I really wanna rewatch all of this series. I remember watching most of it watching on tv. But i definitely want to watch it again for nostalgia and remembrance sake.

Not bad.
The story of a town cut off from the rest of the world is not a new concept. What makes King's story different are the characters and the dramas that unfold. It is more than just a story of people trying to break free of their captivity. To me the story is
like an updated, science fiction/horror, version of LORD OF THE FLIES. It will be interesting to see how the series compares to the book.
There is actually a book series very similar to this, it's called "GONE"
Same premise, except the dome is somewhat visible and everyone in the dome are kids under 15, it's more like lord of the flies than this series.
I heavily recommend the book.

Honestly, this feels like a series Cinema Summary would definitely make a "How to beat" video on.

Shows like this would set up an intriguing premise but fail to deliver the promised satisfying pay off in the end. This is why most of these shows are cancelled before their conclusions because once the shows have picked up viewership, they tend to drag on and on, teasing us. If you like this kind of shows, you can save a lot of time, frustration, and disappointment by simply watching them as a movie where there is an ending in sight, a limited series with an ending in sight, or just watch these recaps.
I usually come to this channel to expect a movie/series I've never seen but I recognize this my parents watched it

This was one of the best shows ever. Total soap opera. Big Jim Rennie was especially compelling as a villain because if you get in his way, he just kills you, and never loses sleep over it. But, the show is really about a twisting of Kant's utilitarian logic that sometimes it's okay to hurt a few people as long as I also get what I desire, and also save more people than I kill.
Of course, the oldest origin of the story probably traces itself back to The Twilight Zone episode, The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" when aliens shut off power to a neighborhood as an experiment to see how quickly humans divide into tribal groups, and attack each other.
Umm.. Kant is about as far from utilitarian as you can get.
