What the property is missing are storm shutters to protect all that glass from hurricane winds and stuff being blown around. I know the windows are going to be impact rated (as per code in Miami-Dade) but I'd still want steel/aluminum roll down shutters to cover the windows and doors.

I like this Schaefer. I thought the house tour would be boring but in fact it is quite fabulous. At 2.5 times as large as my current home it is a little excessive for two people. The dock is great for a yacht owner and truly offsets dock fees if you have less than a 180’ boat.
Love this series!!! I think you should do more "yacht houses" with big dockages. People gotta store these things somewhere and sometimes (most times) it's easier and cheaper to buy a house on the water and let the crew live there. Lotta people do that.
If you could sail a boat into this home, it would transform into the ultimate "Aquanaut's Paradise." It'd be part cozy home, part exotic marina, complete with water slides instead of staircases, nautical-themed rooms, and fish tanks for windows. Best time to buy Florida, the Caribbean, or Bahama property - when you can go in all cash, and after a hurricane or 2 have rolled through the neighborhood, the later being one hell of a motivator for lower prices. Most of these homes are so stark-white in the listing it feels like you’d need to wear shades indoors, but this one has a soul, offers a clean palette for personal touches & the lighting system lets you create almost any mood imaginable. The realtor seriously needs to link this video to his Zillow posting! It will only further hasten the sale. You don’t need Matterport virtual walking tours when you have one as comprehensive and amazing as this one. Oh, and now “on sale” for “only” $16,900,000! Where i live in Southampton UK. There are so many marinas in the area. The river Hamble is mainy European HQs for yachting companies. E.g Nordhavn Europe. Sunseeker, Princess and a few other names. However when (when lol) I win the super 150 million plus euro millions jackpot. Id buy one of the properties in Poole Harbour. As there is a small island called Sandbanks. It was sold to developers a few decades ago. It is one sime of the UKs most expensive property listings. Many famous Multi-million and Billionaires have properties there. Id buy one where i could dock my future superyacht alongside to. As its only a short hop along the coast to Southampton, and the numerous yachting compainies that could do its annual checks on etc. Or id buy a flat in Southamptons ocean village, and Dock the yacht in the Marina. It used to be a cross channel ferry terminal til the mid 80s. Whrn developers built shops and bars etc inside the old terminal building. Then houses and flats. But in early 00s they knocked the old terminal building down, and built more flats and a few shops. The best yacht is also in the same area. Although yacht clubs are dotted around the Southampton area. That would be the one i would join. To have your floating home within spitting distance of you land base, would be perfect. You could look out your window one morning. Radio the Capt to provision the vessel for this or that trip/expedition etc. Then just fall out the front door onto the quay. To be able to look out that window, and know within a few hundred ft or less, yiu can board your floating home, and take it anywhere in the world you wanted (so obviously my vessel would be a super/trawler yacht like a Bering, Nordhavn, or All Seas, or Mini superyacht like the Horizon FD 80 to 120ft range. Probably the FD 110) to go. Although id probably buy a bargain megayacht, like a Codecassa. Something that was cheap to buy, but in great condition for ots age. Then spend that money id buy newbuild onto upgrading her to a modern technical beauty. Plus with a lift to every deck. Including the tank deck and Sun deck access. Id probably put 20 million aside for my superyacht plans. As I'm not sure if ill buy 3 used yachts. 1 x Trawleryacht, 1 x Superyacht, 1 x Powercat. Or 1 x bew build and 2 used. Or 1 new build , or 1 used megayacht as above idea. I think 20 million would be able to do that easily. Id then leave a further 5 to 10 million in a special bank acvount. That was purely for the Yachting aspect of my life. As Im sure the annual interest alone could easily cover the day to day costings (Fuel, Food, Crew Wages etc). Then annual inspections may still be enough, but if dips into actual funds. Id probably just transfer more money other. But as i knew how much it would now actually cost per annum. It may have been a 25 million dollar property 2 years ago, but I have 6 short term rentals in Fl and spend about six months a year there. Property values are dropping like a rock and the worse is yet to come!

That boat is so cool. It's a perfect boat for a lake. Like Lake Mead, for instance. A much nicer party boat than my 28 foot cabin cruiser. Back in the day, this boat would have been crowded. With cocktail waitresses, showgirls, and other assorted beauties. Ahhhh, yes. Summer in Vegas. 😊🥂😉😉😉

It may have been a 25 million dollar property 2 years ago, but I have 6 short term rentals in Fl and spend about six months a year there. Property values are dropping like a rock and the worse is yet to come!
