I think the measurements are according to the size bag you’d like. The fold measurements are at beginning of video . . . 1.5 cm. (I will measure .5 inch.)
Thank you very much for your comment. I add 1.5 cm on each side to the desired width of the pouch. I place the fabric with the wrong sides together and sew at 0.6 cm. A bit slapdash but this is a good way to sew shoebags using up old sheets or teatowels. Ideal when packing your case , so the shoes don't touch the clothes.
