- If you believe the statistics, then in the entire world there is about 3 million abandoned ships that either were wrecked, abandoned or ran aground. Any ship, military or otherwise, hidden beneath the waves or surviving under the sun and wind is always surrounded by many mysteries and riddles. Even if you aren't trying to solve all of them, abandoned ships are always amazing and beautiful sights to behold.

Interesting subject spoiled by the lack of a pause between the story about each ship. Shame.
Yeah, that was annoying.
It's an A.I. narrator. Not a real person. It is extremely annoying.
It’s all these stupid AI channels coming out lately
I'll bet you like to critique people's grammar in the comment section too. There's a word for people like you but YT will take it down if I say it. Try not shatter as you read this.
8:21 Those aren't vases. They are amphorae. The barrel/cargo container of the day.
I dove many of the wrecks in Truk in 1976. When they were still a USA protectorate. All I can say is that most of those I dove on had very, very few people on it. I can't imagine how many people have disturbed the wrecks since then. Some of the best diving memories ever.
I was really looking forward to watching this video, however, I feel like the script for it is probably just one large paragraph that contains a single run-on sentence with no punctuation.
Juborr arrr pandora.. Jubo lembuuuuu..
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT OLD SHIPS.
Actually I liked this film - a bit more to it than I expected, but just wish it could have been longer. One point - I'm not sure if the
Great Britain actually sank off Port Stanley, or was simply left there as a hulk for many years. The restoration of her is magnificent, and a visit highly recommended.
She never sank. Hms Exeter used her iron to make repairs after the battle of the river plate out of interest.
3:21 That isn't a concrere ship. It's a fort built on an island, which is meant to look like a ship.
Wrong. The ship came first. Abandoned in shallow water. The "island" came after as the area r around the hulk silted in.
I've been to Klein Curacao while on a trip to Curacao. The lighthouse has been partially repaired. When I was there, they had completely rebuilt the roof with new tiles in order to protect the interior from rain.
I'm from Curaçao and you are completly right about the light house roof👍hope you visit us again
Of course for the last one, I would dispute that the USS Cyclops would have been the biggest to go down near the Bermuda islands. However, containing maganese it probably exploded while sinking.
Been to see SS Great Britain 3 times. really is a must see.
Ship in thumbnail isn't even in the vid. That kind of crap is all I need to hit Don't Recommend This Channel ...and done.

I think the ship in the thumbnail isfrom a video game
Loved them all.
30 MILLION? No. 3,000 or even 30,000 yeah, but no way there are in the millions. No way at all.
Wrecks and abandoned ships are two different things. 3 million wrecks? Possibly. 3 million abandoned i.e. still visible at the surface? Doubtful. But it depends on the definition of abandoned. The estimate is 6000+ shipwrecks i.e. sunken ships in the Great Lakes alone. Numerous November storms just in the 20th century sank 10 or more ships EACH. Ship is also a relative term.
Saying "BCE" and "CE" really bugs me.
A woke anti Christian term
@@Siggyroka They are in for a rude awakening on the day of judgement
At the beginning of the concrete ship segment, there was shown Fort Drum in Manila Bay between Corregidor and the Bataan Peninsula. It is NOT a ship but a fortified island covered in concrete and has two gun turrets. The shape of the island resulted in the concrete covering to have the shape of a ship and along with the turrets and buildings gave it the nickname "The Army's Concrete Battleship".
I love this channel the voice over is just so good! New subscriber!
I find your historical videos intriguing, thank you so much. I have been curious about the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror recently discovered in the Canadian Arctic/Northwest Passage, I think this might be a very interesting subject for a video in the future. Thanks again for your devotion to history.
I enjoyed these photos 😊
That was interesting. Thanks

The oldest abandoned ship known to man was the Ark, over 4,000 years ago was abandoned on Mt Ararat.
Only ever existed in mythology.
Why didn't you just run all the stories at the same time?
5:03 lmao bro forgor to cut that out 💀
There's a grounded ship in harbor grace nfld. Check it out. Was grounded in a storm. !
I'm your 1000th like! Who hoo

The Bermuda triangle is fascinating.
At one time boats like this were used to hunt the creature from the black lagoon.....They even made a movie about it years ago...A lot of people were killed, and eaten by that horrible fiend from the deep...Entire crews were attacked and killed in the night time darkness
Any ship that spends over 3 decades under water and is raised and restored is amazing!! I love stories like this!!
Research the Vasa. It was found, pumped out and was afloat. Built in the late 1600's
@@Dirtdevil1 I will! Was it restored? 🤔
@@redneckswitwheels
Absolutely. It's been a going on project for the past 4 decades. It's now a museum but back in its full glory. It's spectacular.
ya, do a pause. Take out the ships that are in there twice.
Truk lagoon has sunken ships from WW2 laying on top of ships sunken in WW1
it's so cool, love learning more about this timeline/area.
Mallorca is pronounced as Mi-yor-kuh.
The Yellow Submarine is actually in Coney Island Creek in Brooklyn. Is can be seen easily from the south shore of Calvert Vaux Park.
I have many photos and video, let me know if you want some for one of your videos
That one ship was the one that captured Kong .
Wrong, Noah's ark, Ron Wyatt
Charlie Mowry Exactly.
Not sure how anyone can come up with 3 million.
Your switch from one report to another is VERY POOR. You need to show you are making a transition.
Good, interesting, useless trivia, but I watched it. There was a ship in Kodiak Alaska that was grounded during the 60's earthquake, that got turned into a nightclub/bar. It deserves a mention. 👍
I don't believe the "statistics".
Ismt largest ahip graceyard in the us off cali?
You forgot scuttled?
You lost me at “bce”! Bye!
Discombobulated!
I think I might start pronouncing Chicago... CHICK CARGO!!! MA YORKA NOT MALLORKA phonetically speaking

Doesn’t give a damn a bout what pronouns y want
