that ''wheel'' is just a car axle and that ''clock'' is a gas meter, the long pipe on it floats on the gas and you're about says that you are in america and that's wierd because most steam locomotives in america use oil lamps and the thumbnail... the wheels on the locomotive are strechted i also can pull out a slab of iron and call it a tank part
Not to be rude or anything but.. Steam trains (oldest trains) don't have a electric pannel because they were steam powered. There Is a lot a gauges in the cabin and levers to active stuff. I'm sure the pannel goes to the destroyed station
The shaft with wheel looks like a PTO shaft from the tractor with a pully on the end. The guage is too badly damaged to see if it is a steam guarge from a locomotive or an old clock. The spanner is agricultural but not from steam engine. I would say there is a tracto under that tractor wheel.
Thats not from a train its a drive shaft that ran a belt for some type of old equipment.I really hope this fella is pretending to be clueless he has to be messing around with us sure seems like a sweet person though.
The other piece you found is a connector so it can like connect to other trains, but the other pieces come off because it’s very old to museum so they can repaint it. I went to California Museum of trains.
That c shaped thing is actually called a knuckle coupler in America, are used to keep the trains together, and when you flip that little switch the train will uncouple
As a hobby I have studied railway, vintage mechanical objects and vehicles for years. I carefully studied your objects out of curiosity and came up with these results. Those are railway spikes for tracks, and that's the end of the railway related stuff, sorry. The c shaped clamp im not sure of but likely isn't railway related, it hasn't been in there very long (very little rust and good paint). Some in the comments say its a coupling, its way to small and thin, this clamp is a tool designed to hold or pull two objects together and relied on gravity, (likely not but maybe friction?) to leave the release lever in place, if hammered in tight, movement and vibration would loosen it easily unless its attached to a stationary object, or if the release lever is held in place by something else...strange object. The metal rods linked together are for a tractor or from a tractor attachment, its linkage for lifting the equipment attached to the tractor up and down, or left and right, not railway related. The axle, or universal joint with a cylinder is not railway either, it's very likely to be a wheel for connecting a belt onto a tractor, it attaches to the transmission, may have its own clutch, and operates continuously spinning external equipment from behind or on the tractor (given the tractor tire near by, i think your mainly finding dismantled farm equipment) the gauge seems to be operated by mechanical movement, another gear connected onto the gear under the gauge, rotating the rod you see attached, an educated guess would tell me that this gauge measured the angle of rotation, this may have also been from farm equipment? Closest thing to a mechanical based gauge on the railway (steam era) would be a mechanical oiler, or a speed indicator, however this is neither of those. You have also found a recently dumped industrial electrical panel for turning equipment on and off within a building, not a locomotive, looks like it was only down there for a year or less, its in good shape, also seems it may also have a fuse box. the wrench could be from anything, it wasn't very rusty, still has most paint so it was dumped not to long ago, to late to follow with your railway story. Try hunting there again in another spot, maybe you will find something railroad related other the spikes. Also thanks for inspiring me to try magnet fishing sometime.
The thing they said is a clock that is a pressure meter for steam trains and the thing he said was a wheel is a axle that moves the wheel (not %100 sure though)
My thoughts are what era did this supposed to take place? Was it when steam existed before the diesels? I did some bit of research and found out before steam, train's where horse powered.
Bro your content is amazing but there's one thing that's bugging me. Why don't you just go to the place and pull the thing you feel that's there out of the water???
My guess is that the locomotive and its tender where scraped because a lot of the time when trains derail they get scraped but that’s mostly with older engines I think because newer engines are built a bit more stronger and able to survive derailments better but if the engine was well known or famous in the region it could have been restored but that’s just my guess
I got it wrong because it’s actually for turning the tracks they use the mechanical thing in the same age, as when other stuff was made even cargo even locomotives it was the same, but things changed changed to a Paul and it was like that and the big boy was made a long time ago so the same thing happened, but it was the same thing. It was just a pole.
That wagon wheel might be a part of a engine that had a front bogey or back bogey by the way that thing that you said might be a clock is something that's supposed to be in a cab of a steam engine
The part of the thing u said it look like some kinda of clock. Wrong it’s the speed thing for the train to tell u what speed it’s at ..love your videos
It seems like an old man going fishing to find an old steam engine under the water because the tracks are broken and the train station was destroyed because of the storm it was like a tsunami was coming to destroy the train station

Thats a coupler to couple up the engine with the train cars.
I know
you hold it like this. then you put a railroad there. :P ehm... it probably works better the other way around. without lifting up the entire railroad.
The shaft with wheel looks like a PTO shaft from the tractor with a pully on the end. The guage is too badly damaged to see if it is a steam guarge from a locomotive or an old clock. The spanner is agricultural but not from steam engine. I would say there is a tracto under that tractor wheel.

oh, and by the way, the clock is to measure or see how fast the tree is going just trying to be nice😊
The third piece is actually a passing through button from the old ages. The mental piece you found is the F5 bullet I don’t know.

I don't think its an knuckle, the metal is too thin and the overall shape is incorrect.
great thouth sassy
The one with the hammer theory could be some kind of train coupling
i agree they used to use coupling parts and they had a "pin" to couple.
Is the regulator and the other piece you found? It’s a piston rod.
you dont know anything about trains but i love youre entusisam

What is that wheel is it a military thing

The thing that you thought was a clock at first is actually sort of instrument

Reminds me of the railway that ran in my city, only major accidents were derailments and that's kinda it tho.

That's a freaking clock
Thats more likely a speedometer or the thing that shows the pressure a clock has 2 hands

That's one of the steam pressure guages
They're located in the cab of the engine.
They’re used to monitor the pressure of the steam in the boiler
yes
And to let the drivers and engineers when the safety valve will go off
Your good at identifying stuff like that 👏👏👏

You crack me up! What's next an Antinov?
16:13 thats a train coupler, its a thing that connects a locomotive with railcars.
Pin train coupler type
Absolutely NONE of this has anything to do with train stuff
Your stopper device is a gear puller.
That medicine you found is probably a thing to connect the train cars to
The clock thingy is a speedometer or the thing that shows the pressure i think
the c shaped thing is a coupler. not sure what type, but it allows the locomotive to pull things pretty much by grabbing a coupler on a train car
It's a pressure gauge for the steam locomotives or a gauge for something related to a railway locomotive
That's what I thought
My guess is that the locomotive and its tender where scraped because a lot of the time when trains derail they get scraped but that’s mostly with older engines I think because newer engines are built a bit more stronger and able to survive derailments better but if the engine was well known or famous in the region it could have been restored but that’s just my guess
Scrapping means you're taking an engine apart, these aren't scrapped.
I meant the rest of the locomotive
That reminds me of the flying Scotsman it looks like it got restored
we don't even know if the train is steam or electric, or diesel.

none of these are even train related, that is not a coupler part. Not a driving rod, just stuff you found.
