Awesome to see! I wonder who's singing what part? I know Taylor used to sing the really high vocal parts in the choruses and Dave took the lower parts, I wonder if Chris is handling the high parts now?
@@HeyItsAJOmega Both Nate and Chris are I would imagine, Dave's doing the low harmony which is the main melody present, the high ones are lower in the mix coming from both Chris & Nate. At first listen it sounded like a backing track of Dave's from the studio recording though
@@StandbySunset I still feel that it is a backing track tbh. These high notes take quite an effort to burst out for average singers like Nate and Chris and they appear way too relaxed. I could be wrong of course. At least this is exactly an example of a song that really shows what Taylor brought musically, he was much more than a backup vocalist more like a second lead in a way.
@@roele2413 yeah you’re right, i thought i was underestimating their vocal capabilities but it is a very powerful melody to sing due to its consistent range so yeah perhaps it is a backing track
I really love Josh, he sounds great and I like that he's playing this in his own style. it does make us appreciate how amazing Taylor was, the drum track that he wrote for this song was so creative musically. Rest in peace Taylor ❤
Josh is great for the most part! BUT my only critisism as a drummer is during the chorus the "What if i say im not like th others what if i say im not just another one" just take it to the ride cymbal! but other than that he crushin it!
The problem with Josh is that he is a great drummer but with a more generic style, Taylor was a great creative on the instrument on a par with the great rock drummers, his fills, his rhythms denote the detail in it, Josh can play everything well but without printing that unique seal like the great conceptual drummers.
Josh is gonna have to stop pushing every song. The feel is so much different than it was. Even in the rehearsal video they put out..hes just rushing every song.
