I've been using it for about 2 months now and granted, I'm only 42 so I still have a lot of dark brown in my beard. But I've had a lot of compliments on the look. Tip on fingernail staining. I use my fingers all the time and have never had an issue with staining because as soon as I'm done lathering it into my beard. I rinse my hands then I grab my bar soap, work up a good lather in my hands cleaning them for 15sec being sure to get my fingernails, then I rinse. There's nothing else to do while you wait for the product to do its work, so might as well! Overall I'm quite pleased with the natural results I see. I can say that I never see it get really brown. It's more of a really dark grey. But it blends in nicely with my natural dark brown beard well.
Hi buddy good review I have been using the shampoo on my beard for over a year now and it works great I just leave it on my beard for double the a length of time that I would in my hair With no problems are reactions
I bought this product recently. Unfortunately I won’t be able to use it because I didn’t realize beforehand that you’re not supposed to use it if you dyed your beard blond. I have had great results for the hair on my scalp using Youthhair crème. The hair color looks very natural. I wish Youthhair had a beard formula that you leave on and use daily until you get the desired results.
Dyeing it right to the color you want is surely faster and easier. I think part of the idea behind the beard wash is so the color slowly changes and maybe the people around you don't notice so much.
Been trying it. Before starting my beard was 75% gray/25% black. After five washes 3-5 minutes each, my beard is now 70% darker but with a "very noticeable blue tint." It also leaves beard considerably courser. Will not continue using product.
Some people do get more of that bluish tint. But I think that is still preferable to the greenish tint I got when I stopped using their "for blonde hair" version. : )
Some people may have a reaction to the chemicals in Control GX. They recommend you do a "patch test" before using it on your beard. Since you know you have sensitive skin you should definitely do that first.
From your avatar picture it looks like you aren't starting from mostly grey like myself so I could see it taking longer for you to see noticeable darkening.
That dye version of the product might keep your beard darker- it is a different formulation. Are you still trying with the Control GX Beard? And change yet?
Hey Bobby! Gloves would have kept my fingernails from staining but they are a bother to put on each time in the shower. I prefer the shower-in version because it is easier to use than hair dye.
This includes a "wash" so there are different ingredients. As for whether the ingredients that do the actual color change are the same- I am not sure. This listing on the CVS website lists all the ingredients- bit.ly/ControlGXIngredients
I think it would help you if you thoroughly washed your beard with soap or shampoo after you are done. Simply rinsing your beard will cause your skin to get stained. Thanks for the video!
Dude, a shower scene? Really?(no, I'm not shower scene material either😏) That aside, good video. And since I'm rudely critiquing you, its ok to give up on the shaggy Picard look. Shave the head, keep dyeing the beard. No, I have no room to be critiquing anyone, just trying to help a brother out.
The shower scene was purely educational. : ) And I do hear from a number of guys that shaving the head is the way to go. I have never tried it to see what that look would be like on me but I will consider it!
Dude, this product is not designed for you. You have completely gray hair and therefore need a beard dye to get your desired results. This product is designed for those looking to cover up some of their grey.

I think that they just want to be able to sell you different products
Thanks. It is a good feature that you can adjust the darkness with the time you leave it on.
I remember the hair dye one ...cool to see one just for facial hair. Not that I particularly need this product lol I always love your reviews.

I find it easier to dye it with a dye that has highlight with it by L’Oreal so it looks natural

Great review! Very informative and fun to watch.
is this shampoo is safety and healthiest with no chemical and safe effect
You should have shown a BEFORE and AFTER pic to see the real difference. But, thanks for the effort...

I have very sensitive skin so do you think that product will effect my skin or irritate it? is it safe for the all type of skin ?

cool video tech talk parris
Day 5 of using it and I don't think it had done anything. What shall I do?
From your avatar picture it looks like you aren't starting from mostly grey like myself so I could see it taking longer for you to see noticeable darkening.
@@parristx that was when I was using just for men beard and mustache hair dye,not the beard wash.
That dye version of the product might keep your beard darker- it is a different formulation. Are you still trying with the Control GX Beard? And change yet?
@@parristx no. I'd threw it away.
Just curious how come you didn't use gloves when applying?

i want to know ...is it amoniya free or not
If you want a better results you need to wait 12 -15 min.
So apply it at the start of the shower and then wash it out at the very end?
@@parristx Or watching tv,, just wait 12 min..you will see the big diference, since the first session, just be careful with your skin.
Does this have same chemicals as hair dye

I imagine that's true but if it would wash it off the skin it might also wash it off the beard.
How many days to wait for the next application of beared wash once its used
Haha It dyes your nails but not enough your beard😄
Sir i am living in jorden i need this product pleas tell me because this product is not available in jorden
Use a pair of surgical gloves and you will never have staining
Totally. Its a game changer. Absolutely no reason not to do it.

Why don't you wear gloves?, puzzles me!!
It's a scam. I used it twice and my Beard is bluish purple. Do your research it's not a good product at all
