You've definitely really improved and it's cool to get to see you're progress! Not just in the painting but how your hobby turns into sub hobbies. KEEP DOIN YOU GOBLIN GUY!
You did amazing with that thicc goblin! Her personality was EXACTLY what I focused on, I could definitely see how great her personality is! You accomplished your goal!
Don't be afraid of washes, they aren't just a short cut for shading and are as much a tool as anything else. Despite what people say some of the 'Eavy Metal team do use the shade paints.
Keep it up, it's great seeing you get better and if your anything like me your second year is when you start seeing some of the biggest improvements.
dope work i love it i have been painting minis for a month now and i just did my first osl hope you get better will stay tuned on your stuff!
i painted minis for more then 15 years, mostly as of passion and sometime as commissions, seeing your progress is heartwarming , keep on painting and keep having fun.
Sisters of Battle, yaaaaas. I will have a battle church one day, it will happen
Oh cool! Ive actually been subbed to your other channel for awhile, but im an artist so this new channel is awesome! Good for you!
Woah. Your progress is impressive! Very well done.
And the artstyle you're looking for might be cel shading!
Great progress my dude i am in a similar boat. Something i may recommend is using transparent paint over a colored zenithal. I used AP speedpaint magic blue over a purple basecoat and a teal zenithal with a light white drybrush and the blue armor pops really nicely. Playing with a color wheel is a lot of fun
as a dm who has been limited to online sessions this is super nice to help me starting out with actual mini figs. Keep the good shit flowin my mans.
Yeah I should have talked price but if you wanna get into physical stuff mini wise the resin dnd/pathfinder/etc all come from the same company. Wizkids but the Norse foundry stuff I have linked is great for PCs. Generally these are affordable 👍
You seem like an ork player. I used to be a Guard player, and at one point had a grey legion that was *literally* the size of a modified infantry battalion (like, more than 500 minis and 20 vehicles), but I had to move out of Louisiana and had, like, zero money to move anything of it. But, it was fun while I had the money and space to be a part of the 40k table top community. Now I just hang out in the lore community.
I got into model kits specifically Gundam stuff and I have to say I love it. I got into it in December and I absolutely love it. And it's less expensive than my previous hobby.
