Why isn't FEMA bringing in trailers like they have done in the past and are only providing temporary hotel rooms???

I would bet it is red tape BS. The Gov't is always the last one to the picture show. Folks are freezing cold out there.

A long time ago they did for Katrina. These trailers later sat too long for the next disaster becoming uninhabitable. Easier to give money.
If you were not affected by the flood but by the wind storm your insurance company will put up in a hotel or you can buy an RV hooking up to your electricity and water while you repair or rebuild.

@@carolrmontoya7793 See above. Scott Peterson said, "like they have done for>>> ". He did not say, Bring in the Katrina trailers.
We all know those trailers were trashed, are very old is the still exist and not available.
New trailers are needed if FEMA can get their act together and provide them. I know so much about Katrina that it would shake your boots.

The river took everything away, including the land. There a number of quite valid reasons not to trust your life or your home to the vagaries of a river.

There taking kids away from parents because they don't have homes or are struggling. What's going in with this in N.C. This should not be happening to Helene Victims
