What a blessing. Prayer works. I live in Chapin SC and I have 1 spring fed creek and a dry creek that has flooded several times. My place is in a bottom. My neighbor on 8 acres on top of the hill behind me lost 40 plus trees. As I lay in the loft of my 12x20 rough sawn cabin I prayed a lot the night it came thru. The trees were dropping and I could hear them. I have a huge 3 ft diameter or more beechnut tree that is hollow and dying from the top and a big hallow hole at the base. The roots are blackening as well. It would easily smash my place to nothing. I've hugged that tree in the past and told it thank you for providing shade to me and my chickens and food for the animals. I told it I was sorry for the chemicals being sprayed above that is killing it and all of its kindred all around. I was able to sleep peacefully for a couple hrs after praying. Power was out for 10 days and my place was spared. Thank you Lord Jesus for the blessing.
I am originally from the Greenville South Carolina area. I am in another state now but we were praying also when the storms were hitting and afterwards. It is awful what is happening in our nation and across the world. You're right about the Chemtrails they are all around the Tennessee area and joining States. I think the demon rats have a lot to do with the evil that is going on in America from fires to rains to Farmers to chickens being killed that do not need to be I just do not respect this administration at all. I I have read some different sites for many years that people do not read and I know what's going on across in America and the world. Let us all pray for our nation to get better and God bless president trump.

Love how she named the big trees on her land. Think I'll do the same! Have a couple big 40yo pecan trees in my front yard. Gonna give them some good names, as well as the 80yo eucalyptus by the road.
I was an orphan growing up and like most folks had a lot of challenges growing up but I am 70 now and that is the amount of time God has promised us and more if we are strong.
I have prayed for everyone who went through these floods. I pray God will heal your hearts and minds and restore your lives and they will be better than they were before. Hugs to all of you....A fellow American and Sister in Christ.

What a lovely and blessed woman. Lauretta wasn't the only one who prayed, however, and some of them lost much. Another thing to consider is the lowered building standards that I read were allowed... the Pearsons are obviously excellent builders who know the river and know that building standards are there for a reason. I was in the path of Helene and our area was flooded in Hurricane Matthew and Florence. I live every second by my Faith in God. When I went to sleep, I had no idea what the night would hold. Next morning I got up, I looked outside to see my property unchanged from the previous day. I called relatives. Some had lost power and their property was covered with down limbs. I went outside and videoed my home and yard. It was as if there was no Hurricane. Even as I write this I smile, because I know God protected me. I live alone in a log cabin, with a huge cross, and a large picture of the 'Last Supper' , above my entrance door .
“Backwoods” the simple life of “ heart and soul”, a very telling story of who Americans are and will always be …👊

I love what she said about making your prayers specific. I agree 100%. My daughter got married September 28th in Thomasville. We saw the hurricane coming and I asked the Lord to turn it left so it wouldn't hit the wedding location, and now I feel so bad and will never pray so carelessly again. It went left and destroyed so many lives.

Samaritans Purse is as missing as FEMA is in Helping people in this area. If you know them so good please give them a call and see if they will help this family. They have PAID employees and high over cost so not sure how much goes to help the people in need.

Wondering concerning the she shed, if the copper pennies set into the cylinder pillars created an electrical force, that offset the full force of the water hitting up against them, and thus protected the structure.
