Great work. It's important to match energy levels. Pit bulls have great subdued energy. Prob the best in the dog world.

Thank you..im actually going to an interview tomorrow for a county operated animal shelter /adoption. This video is very helpful.. im leaving 6 years of substance abuse and mental health field to try my hand with animals in need.. ( I think animals are MUCH easier to work with imo 🤔 😉)

I'm looking for a job where I live at a shelter and give the dogs a more domestic loving environment around the clock. I don't care about money, I just need a place for me and my dogs to live and help other dogs. Any leads would be appreciated. I Especially want to help pitbulls.

How much money will I get if I work at animal shelter?

Aodhen Aodhen You won't work there for the money, don't get me wrong the only reason people work is for money but if you wanna get rich don't bother with hit job, I make about 1500 a month working at a shelter but it's one of the biggest in the country, so let's say 1000/1200 on average. Again you do this to give to the animals that can't help themselves not for the money because you can do an office job and earn twice as much with half the time and energy.

The people who abandon their animals for no good reason are probably the same type who don't get them fixed and let them run around.

*Hello! I'm interested in the IguVerse project and I think that it would be great if you could collaborate! They are making a gaming project where people will share 1 percent (or more!) of their in-game income with animal welfare organizations. I think that they could be great help to you!

I love dogs and cats. I do got a high school diploma and want to work at a shelter. I know you need degrees in that field for certain areas, but is it possible to get a job with no experience at a shelter like walking them, feeding them, bathing and walking

No, most likely a cert III or cert IV in companion animal services (or something of the likes. That’s what it’s called in Australia)
