Once Zeta rectify those tolerances this figure is going to be amazing, what other movieverse figures would you like to see done to this standard by Zeta?
It would be great if they did dropkick and shatter but toyworld already released test shots of grinder which is their version of shatter and I gotta say it looks amazing
Seeing as we have a few of the villians (and a lot of optimus options) coming from the movie, id love to see more autobots, like i loved that arcee and brawn used in the movie! (We have no idea what there alt modes look like though
Very much looking forward to it , can only comment on what I have in hand ... transcraft are a new brand I assume so let’s hope the production is up to quality
@plusmetal rise disagree. Zeta's is a massive step up from MPM Bee, but Transcraft's robot mode looks even more, almost 3A movie accurate. We'll see for sure once full color prototypes show up.
I think we've come to the point where Takara are now playing catch-up with the 3P (and in some cases, arguably, the modified KO) releases. For me, "scale" isn't important for an MP figure. IMO, they are "portraits" of a TF character, and so (budget non-withstanding) any size or materials should be utilised to make it look as good as possible. A figure like this is a fairly good example.
I see your point and support this view, but on the toy aspect, scale could further help with immersion, and as such is important to me and many others as well. However we cant win em all, can we?

I'm still personally excited for whatever company is doing the Bumblebee figure shown in the tfw2005 forum post titled "UNKNOWN 3RD PARTY BUMBLEBEE". That figure gets the shape of the legs down PERFECTLY though the hands look a bit weird, which I think indicates it's Unique Toy's version but so far it hasn't been nailed down where the pictures even come from (so if you have any ideas, check it out!)
Ben, can I say I love you bro? I never would have figured out how to put those batteries in I haven't watched the whole video yet but I hope you go over how to put it in the gun
Most sedans (saloons I suppose you guys call them across the pond) have a roof line that is more or less shoulder height. Hopefully that can help you determine figure scale.
He said in the very beginning that it's a pre-production sample and they're still working on getting all the tolerances just right. He also said it was in the hands of other people before it was sent to him so it probably saw a lot of play in that time that may have further loosened the joints.
Now that you mention about that 3rd party Unicron, is there any news of it coming out this year? Because I cannot in any way afford the official one, and it also looks way better without the kibble in robot mode.
I know your busy nowadays sir, but as someone else who lives in the uk, how much do you actually order from show z? You ordered any of the big stuff? I'm planning on getting the superitron boxset and normally I order from kapow but I could save quite a chunk getting it from show z, just not sure how the shipping would work with such a big item or tax etc? b2 five action figures are 1:28 the scale of MPP10 and most of the autobot MP cars. Considering that VW beetle has height of 1,57m, an action figure must be a bit taller. Maybe a G.I.Joe figure 1:18 would be a better fit? Or is it too tall?
I'm looking forward to this figure, I normally enjoy your videos very much, but this one was an excellent feature of your wrists and hands during transformation...not too much robot....
Kind of let down by the size. The official MPM Bumblebee is so disappointing I was hoping this offering from Zeta would be a more movie-accurate option. While he's closer to the actual movie Bee, he's too big to scale well with other MPM figures.
I'm sold, I was worried about the price for what I assumed to be his size but he is a bit bigger than expected. I love him visually, I just wish that hood on his torso could slide down some, I feel that would improve things a lot.
