    I have watched almost all reviews on lynx and I have to admit your video was a tiping point for making an order (ordered last night).
    Great review. Tnx.

    I have a 14c28n Nessmuk by Joker and I love that knife. My other favorite knives to take out into the backcountry here in the Pacific NW US are the Tops Brakimo, Real Steel Bushcraft (I paid $25 uears ago for that knife and while the D2 isnt the best its an amazing wood-working tool espescially at the price) and the ESSEE 4HM. All amazing knives.

      Yeah D2 ain't great, especially for such a beautiful knife. Weird choice since Real Steel has better steel options.

    Great review of a great knife. I own several Joker knifes along with the Lynx. Another great companion knife is the SK Wild Ones Loki, which has nearly the same blade design with an small advantage to strength (5mm D2 or AISI 420hc).

      I own the bushcrater from them. Apart the Lynx. Good knives. But I have also some Mora, BRK, Gerber, and so one. All good knives. The Lynx is my favorite. Along the bravo 1.

    Excellent real world review of this knife. I have this knife, very happy. The high sabre grind makes it a good “camp” knife too, specifically it cuts food and veggies nearly as well as a flat grind. Looking to buy the Campero also made by Joker, it’s a stainless steel flat camp knife. I will use the Campero at home on roast whole chickens and leg of lamb. Why buy a new kitchen knife when I can have a Joker Campero? 😊 I like the Orange color, easy to see and not stupidly leave behind in the woods. The fire steel versions are good and have matching material and color to the handle. However, it’s about 20% more money and I can get a longer thicker fire steel for half that price. Just lash it to the sheath using the provided holes and good cord.

      I also have the bushcrafter from them. A little shorter, a little thiner. Overall a good knife. Talking about the Lynx , is one of my favorite knives.Shoulder to shoulder with BRK Bravo 1. As you could see i also prefer an aftermarket fire steel then the little ones that comes stock with knives.

    It's a great knife. And it's good in the kitchen too! Really does everything.

      Yes. But it would be a shame for such a good knife to be used in the kitchen. And for the field kitchen i have always an Opinel 8 inox with me.

    THE BS-9 GROUP DESIGNS ARE SOME OF THE BEST. THEY WEORK WITH BOTH JOKER & CUDEMAN ALBACETE KNIVES FROM SPAIN. THE LYNX IS A BEAUT, WITH GREAT OUTDOOR VERSATILITY & A HIGH SABRE GRIND GEOMETRY. I HAPPEN TO PREFER THE CUDEMAN’S HEAT TREATMENT (~ 2 POINTS HARDER, WITH CRYO… SLIGHTLY BETTER EDGE APEX HOLDING)

    • @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421
      @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421  Год назад

      No doubt abot it. But the price on Cudeman is higher. Without, in my opinion, a significantly improvement in quality. I landed this knife for a price of approximativly 60 bucks. Max 70. Way better then a Cudeman.

    I like your review on this knife, and think im going to buy it....

      They have also a knife called bushcrafter. Same steel. They say it's a remake of one of theirs older model - Pantera. But to me it lucks very much like Aurora. Only smaller. You should check it out.

    Very nice video. The Lynx looks awesome, but I still can't choose among different Joker models. Do you have also other Joker knives to compare with this one?

    • @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421
      @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421  2 года назад +1

      I have only the bushcrafter. But it's another level. Smaler and nimbler. A real bushcraft knife. Not survival tipe like Lynx and the orhers.

    Joker knives are great knives it's the Joker bonded leather sheaths that suck...(Bonded leather are scraps of sawdust leather glued together and heat pressed) Bonded leather cannot be wet-formed.

    • @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421
      @bushcrafteruldeweekend7421  2 года назад

      I really don't know what type of leather they use. But I don't mind. If the sheath is bad I can always make a new one. From leather. Takes a little time, but it's fun. :))
