I like the idea of the deep warp. It's like things buried in the deeps of Middle Earth that even Balrogs fear. It adds a layer of mystery to a cannon that even deep diving cannot destroy. I also like the idea of such things having a possibility of neutrality for some of the entities within it or even alliegence. Legion of The Damned sure feels like it could be the result of Marines pulled into the warp but refused to bend the knee to chaos for long enough they could refind the light of the astrnomicon as minor deamons of humanity.
So, there is NOWHERE in this universe that there is NOT a horrific, terrifying monster ready to eat you. Well, that settles, I'm going to vacation in Narnia.
Draknyen specifically originates from the 1st "human" murder which is why it is so tied to humanity & antithetical to the Emperor. Originating from the acts of humans & being the death of empire, it was the greatest single threat to big E which is why even He, couldn't slay the daemon & instead had to bait it into stabbing Him so He could seal it. And that too is why it is currently in the form of a sword. Not because it shapeshifted into that so abadon could use, but because that's the form big E, unable to defeat it sealed it into
I think the future exists. But the past and present are merged. My understanding of time in the warp is like a bucket. But instead of it being full of space it is full of time. Once something new goes in it immediately spreads to fill the volume of time within. So until something exists it never existed but once it exists it has always existed. But that’s me trying to understand the warp and the warp is madness.
Enslavers are typical warp non alligned creature, and then there arethe eldar gods, Malal, Vashtor, the Archfane, the Imperial saints, the Legio of the Damned and then beyond them, there are the cratures of the deep warp, where the Gods themselves dont dare to go.
This was fun! It's fun when Chaos is a problem, but not brandishing one of the big four names. I will say, though, that this type of thing is also something I really liked about the Fantasy Flight Games lines of books; when they populated the spaces with "monsters", but they weren't just the units CSMs, Daemons, or DEldar could actually field. Weird beings like psychic water mongers who could control you, or punish you, if you drank their bounty, or shape-changing lacrymole mercenaries. I actually really liked a kind of dumb one, called Hollow Men. We never learned what they REALLY are; blighted future-dwellers, but in the present? Warp monsters in space suits? If you went to the wrong places, though, they could grab onto the exterior of your ship, and just start cutting. They're human-scale, so one might think they'd do little to the skin of a mile-long ship, but they can damage components, leaving you down systems. Imagine if they tore out an augur antenna, leaving you without sensors, or even just temporarily interfered with your Gellar field generator? They can be hard to notice, if something hasn't already gone wrong, and they'll attack crew, or component, as they shuffle along the hull.
I think the Enslavers are the strongest non chaos Warp being 2nd only to the Dark King. Specifically the Enslavers from the War In Heaven would likely overwhelm the Chaos gods and hurt the Tyranid hivmind at their peak full power. They would have been fighting the powerful Ancient Eldar, the biggest Krorks leading their Krork and Prime Ork armies, the Cacodomius species of aliens that could overpower multiple Chaos Greater Daemons individually, other Warp entities, and C'Tan and the Necron armies of that time. And they won but ran out of sustainable prey for psykic resources in turn which left them in destitution for the next few million years.

I've always preferred when authors refer to the warp in the eldritch abyssal unfathomable dark vs the "scifi equivalent of hell" version of the warp that tends to be represented
I just read the Alpha Legion book. The (“Thrud” I think are called ) are really powerful but it says a lot as I just read the book and I'm not sure about the name. Its a good book if you don't know anything about Alpha like me 💯🇬🇧❤️
Man, I thought non-chaos entities were more varied, but this gives the impression they're just as hostile and dangerous as chaos. Is there really so little that *isn't* trying to do unspeakable things?
@@TheLostPrimarch It's pretty grim and is pretty terrifying with the bodily horror that outright rivals Warhammer 40k especially with the time frame the bodily horror and suffering last. Longer the entire timeline of the War In Heaven to 41st Millennium.
@TheLostPrimarch Ah thanks. For me it would be logical that things from the deep warp wouldn't be aligned with the chaos gods as they do not dwell there. While this doesn't mean that everything unaligned is thus from the deep it still made me wonder 👀
Comments for the comment deity! Or was it YT algorithm? As a side note, the Warp, being chaos, also has (or should have) areas of exquisite beauty and order. I remember one story where an entire cluster was in the shape of a rose, with each star also being in the shape of roses (or rose buds, it has been a while). Entire planets were peaceful and utopian. Similarly, we always see the grimdark, but there have to be entire worlds where generations live and die in peace. After all, there a number of stories where the grim darkness descends after generations of peace and plenty...
I have to say that the intro catch phrase reminds me of that annoying Australian Warhammer guy it makes me not want to watch your videos even if I enjoy the content it is just crispy cringe eh
Sick! You have so many unique ideas for videos; I have some other ideas for some u can use if you like, although i'm not sure on the amount of info that exists on these topics 1. Dark Eldar's family/societal structure outside of stuff like the arenas and basics about Commoragh and the species' nature and relationship to Slaanesh. Family structure in particular are something I've always been curious about; they all have to torture something constantly right, so does that mean they have to teach a BABY how to torture someone or something? How do you operate a family unit, nuclear or otherwise when violence is so culturally pervasive and apparently biologically necessary?? I can't see a futuristic city functioning without stuff like a hospital or a school system or a workplace when their very existence demands constant violence. How does their population grow or at least remain stable when they are likely to be constantly killing each other? I feel like it'd just be mass murder all over the place xD 2. Another thing i would like to see a video on is the daily life of Space Marines when they are off duty on their Battle Barges or elsewhere; or even the daily life of Chaos Marines off duty in their weird ships hanging out with Tzaangar or other demons would be cool too. Are the dorms in Battle Barges accurate to what we see in Space Marine 2?( no Toilet D: and no pillow! worse than jail..) Do they get shore leave occasionally? Do Space Marines get paid anything? Do they play any sports or have any kind of video games or TV or anything? Combat simulator? lol xD - what is there to do as a Space Marine? What kind of food do they eat and what is there to drink ? Do Space Marines have formal wear outside of their armor, like a normal uniform, or any other clothes? Are they allowed to have families or see their original parents or relatives ever? Is there any Space Marine that was actually allowed to retire to a non Dreadnaught or non Servitor role when he was injured or when he had served a long ass time? Is there such a thing as retirement on a beach in 40k? A resort world? Great work man! :)

In the warp.
That us what the Emperor and the throne is currently containing, literally. If he dies, then new rift swallows Terra

Makes me wonder if there are some warp creatures that are on the side of the imperium?
Watchers in the dark man
many like Legion of the Damned, Graels, Sanguinor etc
They don’t even need to be on our side. I’ll gladly accept assistance from entities wanting to give the 4 the finger. 😀

Born of warp, always existed while never existing. Lord a realm without time is weird
Indeed it is
A 2d realm, of shallow and deep bits. No wonder there trying to escape it.

my favorite sub-part of 40k's lore. it really does feel like something you're not supposed to know about.
Right? :D
Always cool to see someones take on these topics.
I remember a passage written somewhere in the many books that the deep warp is somewhere even the chaos gods fear to go due to the entities there

Good, Good. Educate the weak of mind, thus increasing the overall Chaos potential of the Warp!
I know that Emperor of mankind got influenced by the omniponent warp being that focus on misotheism.

It's the “Grim Dark Future”
To fans of supernatural that would be cool if there was a jaw bone of a goat that was OP as a weapon of chaos
Who do you think is worse? A Dark Eldar Haemonculi or a Qu from All Tomorrows?

CHAOS aligned or not is pretty much irrelevant if they are still just as bad. Are there any unalined entities that are NOT monsters?
Thete used to be, but warp has become a twisted place, it is not anymore the calm Sea of Souls.
@TheLostPrimarch True meaning the difference between the current residents and demons is rather irrelevant.
What about the Grell/Enslavers?
Nice
Very nice
Yo mama so warped, she's not a creature of a Chaos God.
Cool video but the abbadon jibe was unnecessary
I think I will be the judge of that lol
