I like how daemon's behavior during the whole episode basically proves Abaddon's philosophy about siding with them. Word Bearer-half of Possessed was actually reasonable and just wanted to get out with no show, but Daemon inside really wanted that "Playing with your victims" which led to downfall of both

"Your legion is done with you" is the chain that binds, tightening around the senses like a leash of the marine's own making. It's poetically tragic how blinding emotions can be against rational thought

In the aftermath of the drop site massacre the gal vorbak were seen as abomination by some of the traitor legion especially by the first captain of the night lords Jago sevatarion and maybe the Iron warrior
i dont think i can ever awnser that question "what will you choose when your surrounded by fire and darkness" i think the joker from the dark knight said it best "you see in theyre last moments poeple show you who they really are" like i can say now i would be fearless and accept death as a friend but the true awnser only reveals itself when the moment comes. so for now i wont say and safe the awnser for when the time comes
Some of the worst work they've put out in a while. Yawn-fest + the animation was off. Not going to call it pure garbage, but definitely a poor showing. They've had a few wins over 2024 though. Some misses as well, but overall the quality has been improving, so can't complain too much. Waiting to Astartes 2 will be difficult as that looks like a hands-down win from the little we can see.

That’s because that particular Cadian was void born. Not a natural denizen of Cadia. Very few Cadians from the original fortress world remain with the rest merely adopting the hereditary traits, martial training, and discipline. Today, very few have ever faced chaos as the others did during all 13 Black Crusades. That’s why the guardsman was so weak to the chaos marines influence.
Honestly this episode was a huge letdown for me. With all the hype and having just seen all the other warhammer tv stuff this was sooo lame it was just guardsmen running around tweaking for 20 mins pretty much. Coulda been sooo much better tbh
....so instead of leaving and report back to command, he chose to die ? making the death of his entire squad all in vain ? what is the point ? for that Cadia joke ?
Do you have any idea what it takes to kill a regular Space Marine? So many biological redundancies on top of warp infused gifts beneath the corrupted armor of the Chaos Space Marine make them virtually unkillable. Blowing up the drop ship with all of the munitions on board was virtually the only way the old man could kill it. Other pilgrims would arrive later and rescue him if he survived the explosion. Killing the Chaos Marine would prevent any other pilgrims from dying after they arrived so he saved a lot of lives that may never know what he did. That is the point. And if you call Cadia a joke then i suggest you delve into the lore more.

@@MrSierra116 There is no reporting back to the Inquisition. If you see a Chaos Marine then it is already too late. All you can hope for is that you have something that can kill it while losing as few guardsman as possible. And then you have to get lucky enough to use the gear without dying yourself. If you do die then all you can do is pray that those that come after you use what was prepared to finish the job. So, you can either run and die, or fight and die. I know which one I’d choose.
Too much yapping. Guardmen would not be quipping so much entering hostile territory- especially Cadians. A squad would also not spit up like that. That's literally Horror film 101 victim mistake. If you notice with GW's content they have too much walking and talking. It annoys me. GW's walking animations are still stiff.
