I remember I wanted so bad for Bayonetta to have a Staff-Like weapon in the first and second games. I was so glad when we finally got one in this game.
I just wish it wasn’t in the form of a microphone. I dunno, it just looks tacky to me. EDIT - The moves are hella creative and wicked cool and the whole idea of the weapon being a microphone goes well with the demon masquerade form.
@@Gemini053 The weapon gave me the inspiration to give my Little Mermaid-inspired magical girl similar to this one for this one Magical Girl Art Challenge I'm doing in June 2024.
This game undeniably has the best animations of the franchise. The stupid amount of details in every single animation, having a custom "hold" animation for each individual hit... Really flabbergasting.
Yeah, ig since they couldn't make the game look as appealing as the other 2, they added these nice smaller details that really bring some more life to the game
As per usual, excellent video! Your moveset showcases are very thorough! This is one of the weapons I'm actually quite fond of the moveset for, even with the poor implementation of Demon Masquerade. Ideally, the spear thrusts would be a tad faster for better stagger rates, and I do wish it made use of pole-dancing kicks because that would've been *iconic.*
I only recently noticed about the 6:56 part, that is, when you charge your attacks, you get a blue diamond (for punch) and a pink one (for kick). Any idea what they're supposed to be for? I haven't checked any in-game manuals extensively and currently my Switch is not with me so I can't check, but the last time I tested in training mode, I don't notice anything affected by those two diamonds even after I fill up their gauges. PS: The diamonds are on the top left below the life bar, btw.
You could've used Jeanne since this is a Jeanne variant's weapon (since you used the costumes relating to the weapons for the previous videos). Although I guess it felt pointless since they didn't bother making the Jeanne outfit available. Same for the Rosa variant sadly, they could've made the costume available, even if only for the Bayonetta model. (or you know, straight up porting Rosa's movepool from the previous game into this one, and then adding the costume French Rosa had).

In English bayonetta actually sings the song. I didn't know in the JP dub there was no singing but just saying about something.
It's there, but it was very faint in this video bc the op probably have the music volume lowered

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the blue and pink diamond gives Bayonetta buffs. Blue for attack and pink for defense.
