    Looks like a fire hydrant in the front yard. It seems a 82 year old male passed away in this fire. Found in 2nd floor bathroom. Prayers to family and friends for their loss. Such a sad ending. God's blessings to John who never fails in showing us the best coverage. Stay safe, bring a sack lunch, maybe? Hehe. God's blessings to all the firefighters and EMT's who sacrifice so much to provide us with the very best . Stay safe members, you are truly the best. 😊

      YEP so sad that someone lost their life ( I'm from the UK so didn't know that just from the YT vids until I read your comment) 😥and yes I agree John needs a snack / grab bag lunch box ...I have been a subscriber now to the channel for a good while and he Allways delivers and I also agree with your statement about all the firefighters and EMT'S ....just like in the UK AND AROUND THE WORLD they put their lives on the line daily to protect us the joe public be it lives or property and I FOR ONE APPRECIATE THEM ...and also saddened when on of our (as I call them) guardian angels loses their life in the line of duty!

      I do not know NY rules but where I live, construction trucks, delivery people, etc can use an amber magnetic light. You can not go faster, but it makes people more aware of you. You are working and need to get somewhere, often other drivers do not cut you off, and will let you change lanes more easily. When I worked for the Post Office and had to drive my own car for deliveries they gave us one, with a 3 way switch, on, off, or just on when you were braking and stopped at a mailbox. We could buy our own magnetic signs from the union. I know all the auto parts shops sell them and they are not very expensive. Also useful if you breakdown or are in a snow storm. When parked take them off roof and stick in back seat.

      Most use final because it is about 1/2 the price. Thin aluminum burns bright and hot not just melt and sag. I had an aluminum row boat catch fire in the yard it was very hot it took garden hoses from three houses to keep it from spreading to house or garage with lots of gas cans and stuff. It was started when some fireworks went off on edge of it.

    • @suesmith5746
      @suesmith5746 Год назад

      There is, they lose all the stuff that is valuable to them, this time it included a person. Hoarding is a form of mental illness, most often by those who were or are very poor. If you grew up in the 30's or 40's you did not dare to throw away something that you might need later and could not afford to replace. Once it starts it continues to get worse. Often it is taught from parents to their children. My parents were born in the early 1900's, people made a living by picking up junk and recycling it. Then after WW2 people just threw everything away and the landfills overflowed. I can not throw away something that is perfectly good but I no longer need. Thankfully we have the Goodwill and other groups who will recycle it to someone who does need it. My bucket list includes giving away a boxful of clean undamaged useful stuff at least once a month, If I live 15 more years I will make it, in the meantime it makes a good burglar alarm.

      With the real potential for spreading to the other two homes it's better to have additional assistance on the way then play catch up when it's into 4 buildings. These buildings aren't attached, but the video clearly shows the effects of radiant heat.
      I guess you've never seen considerable fire spread with detached buildings.
