I met Tamia doing research together in the summer of 2016 during undergrad-let me tell you, she is such a genuinely amazing person on the inside and out. She is brilliant, kind, charismatic, & her personality brightens up any room she enters. I get chills every time I see her story and how successful she has become! Dr. Potter truly has a heart of gold-I am proud to see someone who I befriended make history & inspire our upcoming generation

Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽 Dr. Potter. I did not know the percentage of Black neurosurgeons was that low. I fortunately had the pleasure of working with a Black neurosurgeon and even had the opportunity to observe one of their surgical cases.

I pray pray pray that she doesnt experience racism and bad vibes there. So many of our women go to these schools that seem great on paper, but they treat them like crap. I know so many women this has happened to. I truly truly truly pray that she's protected and she has the best time of her life there.

That moment of genuine praise and gratitude, when she took off running (in the fuscia dress). Her family didn’t realize what was happening in that moment and, by trying to hug her, (unintentionally) became a hindrance. PRAISE HIM DR. POTTER!!! 🙋🏾‍♀️ Well done, Tamia. Well done 👏🏾☺️
