    You ever do Blue Apron before? How did it turn out? Bad? Good? Worth it, in your opinion?

      I love Blue Apron. My last month of boxes have been perfect but I have received spoiled/broken ingredients on occasion. They always credit us appropriately and it's not a big deal for us to replace one ingredient here or there. Overall I appreciate getting to try a lot of different recipes with minimal effort on my part.

      That's the thing I do like about it. You don't have to ask yourself two questions that make a lot of people lazy in the kitchen: "What do I want to make?" and "What materials do I need for this?'
      Ironically enough, I've never had Blue Apron leave stuff out or ship bad stuff before, but I've had it a ton of times with Hello Fresh. Oh, how the turntables.

    I got to enjoy all 38 renditions of this. Ok maybe I am blowing that out of proportion but I laughed my butt off every rendition. Keep it up my friend.

    Blue Apron is down over 70% since their IPO. With this quality of bok choi, I don't see them growing their subscription base at all.
    SELL: Blue Apron, BUY: Tipsy Wok

    A pinch is equal to 1/8 tea spoon. Blue Apron meal in a box looks more like a circle jerk in a box. I cant for the life of me understand how people are so lazy that they will pay extortion prices for what amounts to a hipster happy meal. Another grate video, thank you.

      To a lot of people, time is worth more than money, and if they can spend money to save time or effort they're gonna do it. Services like BA are just in between "making your own recipe and going out and finding all the proper ingredients and buying them" and "going out to eat".

    • @mrkrasker9609

      Looking at Blue Apron Holdings Inc stock, the stock has slid from $9.34 to $2.62 USD, with a shake up in management in 2017 it seems that the average Joe is not going for the concept. BA has sunk to the level of hustling it's meals at Costco.

      Mr Krasker extremely interesting. I wonder if Hello Fresh will be any different.

    • @TipsyWok
      @TipsyWok  6 лет назад +1

      I actually have not. I know there are a few more that exist but these two are the most popular ones. I also have some gift cards for Chef'd but they WON'T LET ME SIGN UP FOR THEIR WEBSITE

      Whattt? Definitely contact them. They're one of the most "customizable" meal kits around.

    I'm giving them a thumbs down. It might be a good alternative for someone who has little to no cooking experience, but the instructions are vague, ingredients are not fresh, not vacuum sealed, and missing ingredients!? I'll pass...and that fish looks disgusting!

    • @TipsyWok
      @TipsyWok  6 лет назад +1

      Funnily enough, you do actually need 'little or more' cooking experience here, since a lot of the techniques they say to do may not be as familiar to very beginner home cooks. But I'm not sure how many beginners at that level are interested in something like BA... but hey, some people learn to run before they walk!
