I actually just bought this from Classic Firearms for $329. I love the look of the gun and for the price and reviews around RUclips and online, you can’t beat it. Can’t wait to pick up from my local ffl dealer.
I just got one of these, and it appears to be a very good value, but I've experienced similar problems with the safety. Hopefully it will improve with use, but right now I can only put the safety on by pushing up on both the right and left actuators at the same time. Once the safety lever is switched on (up), I can then take it off in the normal way, by pushing down on one side with my thumb. The other problem that I have noticed is the incredibly stiff spring in the magazine. I've only loaded one of the two magazines with 10 rounds, but that was much more difficult than it should be. The spring is stiff enough that I cannot press down the top round far enough to start inserting the next round, even with only one round loaded. The "speed loader" that ships with the gun is no help. It will only push down the rear end of the top cartridge while leaving the nose sticking up at an angle, preventing insertion of the next round. I've ordered a Maglula loader, and that may solve the loading issue.
Warranty service update. I sent this in to SDS Imports for warranty repair, but they sent it back without addressing the defective safety mechanism. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend purchasing Tisas products or anything from SDS Imports.

The safety is hard to move but you can take two fingers and move safety several times and then just keep doing it and then you can move it with your thumb but excellent gun to me it jammed twice went to more grain and that solved it good luck buddy!!
You really gotta put in effort to switch the safety up and down. I had quite a few problems when first firing, but after 150 rounds it's operating much better.
The sight had to be adjusted on mine. It was visibly off. There is an adjusting screw you have to turn. Otherwise Love the gun. Mine came with two 18 round clips.
I would 100% spend the extra money on the Sig. I know it seems like a lot but you know you are getting quality in the parts that matter the most such as the barrel.

Yes. This Gen 1 is a great 🔫! Trigger is awesome. High quality 🔫 for a low price. Safety is stiff pulling up. Safety is easy going down/turning off ..and that's all that really matters.

I recommend either Streamlight or Surefire. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a laser as they aren’t as reliable as a pair of good night sights. I recommend spending the extra you would on a laser on a good set of irons.
