Dominick Izzo is a retired Police Officer and the Chief Instructor of the Izzo Wing Chun Academy.
Dominick Izzo began studying Wing Chun in 1998 after an extensive amateur competitive Wrestling background.
Izzo studied under Ip Man / Sam Kwok / Simon Lau lineages and passes on his love and respect for Wing Chun in it's truest sense as a combat system for self defense.

And as someone who has had many personal conversations with him he is legitimately a great person off film , and I mean shit his personality on camera definitely makes it entertaining lol

I have taken several online courses under Master Wong (both his old, original days when he was much more sedate, and his more current stuff), as well as having been in some email communications with him. His crude mouth is as much a market tool as anything. He really is a nice guy.

And wong is completely legit, extremely skilled martial artist, and his capability of successfully teaching online, which if you know anything about martial arts training is nearly impossible and he does it extremely well.
Love your work in Wing Chun. I'm 42 and a beginner in wing chun and I already pick up in some of the communities arrogance. Stay steadfast on this work. You have uncomplicated wing chun. Lol. Above all keep you heart and soul anchored on Christ...
Master wong helped me to develop and adapt my wing chun point of you. Not the dogmatic but self defence aspect. And you learn and receive answers in 5 minutes than 5 weeks of training with traditiional wing chun guys

Hey Dom was watching a vid that you posted that was a few years old and I have a question how do you think your Wing Chun has changed as you got older and maybe with injuries (I know you said you shoulders weren't what they use to be) and other things that we go through as we age and have more life experience, also have you found that you have changed the way you teach with the older and wiser and more experienced that you have become? Maybe a question that you can talk about in your next Wing Chun Wednesday.Thanks Shane

Ramsey Dewey talks a lot of smack about Master Wong. He even wore a bald cap once to do a mocking impression of Wong. Dewey loves to imply he's the bizz when it comes to martial arts. And that others are rubbish, even charlatans. That's why I stopped watching him. That, and his affected way of speaking to make himself seem very important.

I would love to learn Wing Chun but the only school is 80 dollors for one class a week . You ain't learning crap doing one day a week . So Muay Thai and cross train with Ju Jitsu .
Unless they are capable of teaching you quality lessons each time which makes up for it. You should try it at least once. Maybe twice to make sure.
Wing chun has always been a style that overcharged peoples because of Bruce Lee.All these A--holes on here can say what they want to say about Bruce Lee,if it was not for him wing chun would be just another Kung fu style that fell into obscurity like all the other Kung fu style over the years,because peoples discovered its not worth a crap as a fighting style.
