So good! This very thing actually happened to me this summer. I was
touring the Downton Abbey estate in England, walked outside to go to the gift shop where there were about 5 stone steps going down. My husband was ahead of me and called out to me from the courtyard to say “hey Susan look, there’s Lady Carnarvon just there talking to people and I know you want to meet her”.
Well I heard him and turned quickly to look and tripped down the steps and fell into the gravel like and idiot, rolled my ankle and busted my opposite knee. It all happened in the blink of an eye. I was so embarrassed, I got up and hobbled into the gift shop out of sight, pretending I was fine, I could see my ankle doubling in size within minutes!
Anyway, Lady Carnarvon never knew I existed. I literally could have cried at almost 60 years old, as this tour was a top bucket list check mark for me.
So YES to more - working on reaction and reflex abilities as I realize how important it is and how I never want that to happen again!
Thank you for making this and posting it 👏🏼
Thanks for sharing!
Love all your content!!! RUclips videos are my favorite platform you use
Good advice to do balance movements between sets. I normally stretch but will incorporate these movements going forward
World you consider using a balance Board?
It’s certainly a tool you can add to your routine.
What supplement do you take for bone strength?
Strength training. High impact exercise. Yoga. Protein. Make sure my calcium, vitamin D and magnesium are sufficient via food or supplement them. If anything is off with my gut I fix it. (You can’t absorb what you can’t break down) 59 and stable.
@@Flipping50TV Thank you. I'm wondering how you know if something is off with the gut? And what to take?
May I ask how old you are? Just for inspiration!
