Hey Colin, I have been watching the one stop co-op shop for a long time now and I just wanted to thank you at this point for all your work. Your videos and your voice calm me down for some reason, they help me to relax after a long, stressful day. My good friend passed away this week and I am sitting here alone in quarantine, your videos help me to find some rest, mentally and physically. To life, to playfulness, let's lose ourselves in the moment.
I am very sorry for your loss, and am so happy that these videos can be an escape for you. I hope you can put a game on the table and just enjoy it soon as well as I find that to be therapeutic at times! Regardless really appreciate the comment and you watching the channel!
@@OneStopCoopShop Thanks for your response Colin, yes it can be really therapeutic, I hope I can get more games back to the table once I feel like I am capable of it again.
27:00 thematically it is for a more diverse Viking gut microbiome. It is also the scientific explanation why we want different kinds of food to eat every day.
Thanks Matthew! I was actually quite amazed, it was my best score for sure. I love all the different strategies you can take in this game! Thanks so much for watching!
First time I watched your Robinson Crusoe 'Hunting Convicts' scenario and I like your very elaborate explanation of the rule and nice camera angle. Despite of the difficulty to win I decided to buy it because the harder the game the more curious I am and want to beat it like you did 😁. And now you reviewed the game that I already owned AFFO Norwegian! Nice videos, greetings from Indonesia
Omg, I've been adding a difficulty to placing goods on myself! I was understanding the rulebook that you have to cover all spaces to the left as well as below, not all the spaces that are to the left and below. Also, very nice score!
What's nice is if you look at your home board they did a great job of using a different color so you could see what you needed to cover to obtain the next income amount! Thanks for watching!
@@OneStopCoopShop I never noticed that! There's so many little convenient things like that in this game though. I think this is one of the most if not *the* most well produced game I own. The little trays with the goods, flipping for upgrading, the round board, wooden pieces, etc. I'm not a huge Euro gamer, but I do really enjoy this one!
Probably my favorite Uwe Game. Note - Longhouses: Orange and red cannot touch except at corners. - Trade action: Only one each green type can be upgraded.
@@tas1624 you are wrong - his shed placement is 100% fine. Oranges cannot touch other oranges / reds cannot touch other reds. Oranges and reds can touch.
Nice play through. The only mistake I saw was the upgrade space let’s you upgrade any number of green unique goods, so you couldn’t upgrade two oil to runes. It didn’t look like it changed anything though, so good job!
you forgot something... Phase 11 During this phase, you must take the leftmost resource (the one closest to the arrow) from each hill tile and return it to the general supply. If, after performing the above action, there are hill tokens with only one "2 silver coins" token left, remove such hills from the game (return them to the box) and return the coins that were on them to the general supply.

Totally get it! Thanks again for watching!
23:48 'Magical Vikings' - thematically they are trading the herb for the pig as they go to the mountains. The row says 'Mountains and Trade'
Thanks!
On 49:25 you can only trade dissimilar goods, ie you can only upgrade one oil to rune stone in that instance.
Thanks for that yup!
Thank you Colin, excellent playthrough will have to get my copy out this weekend and play
Yesssss!!! Have fun is a great one!
Great playthrough. Your dice rolling is truly blessed!

Cool!
Nice job! That is a really good score! I have not done the building strategy before and that payed off.
Thanks Matthew! I was actually quite amazed, it was my best score for sure. I love all the different strategies you can take in this game! Thanks so much for watching!
25:30 -- It's a sickle, a tool for harvesting grain.
Thanks!
Dammn I knew I missed something in History class all those years ago when it came to Vikings buying McDonalds with coins....
Great video as always :)
Hahaha!!!!
Thank you for sharing! It’s very helpfully and pleasant to watch
Glad to help!!
OMG. Like a pro! I struggle just to fill my home board. I’ve only played competitively but might give solo a go to hone my pillaging skills - hehe.
It helps for sure!

Well thank you so much for watching and glad you love the game!! So do i!!

I'm with you on that!! For some reason it is just very satisfying! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Amazing solo playthrough as always! You really quite good at AFfO Colin!
Thanks so much!! I did way better then I was thinking. It was a blast! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I play Rosenberg's euros "just to have fun" as well, Colin. I am terrible at them, but I do love them :)
There's something about them! So relaxing!
@@OneStopCoopShop I agree!

Yup I'm pretty sure I did the first one right just the second one I missed one time thanks!
@@OneStopCoopShop Look at Time Stamp 56:07: All your sheds are illegal but mostly fixable by removing pigs.
How are those illegal? I think you are wrong red and orange can touch just not touch the same color....

@@TheLemon22 I agree now
It really look like a fun game, but one I'm not sure I'd enjoy playing solo.
Thanks for the great video Colin!
I get that! More of a multilayer game for sure. Thanks for watching!!
Another great solo play through !
Thanks so much for watching!!
23:50 well pigs are a magical animal they turn vegetables into bacon
Hahaha!!!
The dice rolling gods where with you this game
Gotta love those dice!!!
Hi Colin! Do you still enjoy this game? Curious to know if the Solo play has lasting replayability. Thanks!
Still have it and love it! So many options on how to gain your vp. I would say you can get 30 plays before it starts to feel repetitive!

Round 6. 49:25
Sweet thank you!!!
Everyone should check out the comic that has Vikings facing off against the alien from The Thing. I want to see an expansion that includes that!
Ohhh yeah me too!!!

In my copy I have a half ore 😅😆
Hahaha!! Half ore half rock! Love it!
