- I just love hot burgers. Now that I’ve been introduced to Heath Riles BBQ Rub, my hot burgers are even better than before.
To make Hot Burgers, mix 1lb of lean ground beef with 1 Tbs of Heath Riles Hot BBQ Rub snd 1 Tbs of Tabasco Sauce, after mixing well, mix with a 1lb of Jimmy Dean Hot breakfast sausage. Form the mixture into Pattie’s and cook with your favorite method.

Fast and easy! Looks tasty for sure. I've only had my Sportsman Pro a week and did 4 cooks already. The seasoning is coming along great. This holds the heat well too. Awesome grill!
Yes, I like the grill a lot. It is not with out issues, but neither was the old model. I do think I like this one a bit better over all. I still have nostalgic feelings for the old one. Thanks for watching.

Hot burgers are awesome, I used to use Tony Chachere’s in them, and they were good also with Uncle Steve’s SpicyR. Both were very good not a whole lot of difference with either. Yet with this HR Hot BBQ Rub, these are even better than before. Noticeably different. Either way though they are good. Make hot burger patties, cook them hover you like and dress the sandwich the you want to. This burger meat mixture is delicious if you like spicy bold flavored foods.

You have to try! I just did these exactly how Big Lew did and they were probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Did them on the old version of the original Sportsman’s Grill. 2005 model.

Hey Big Lew, I like that wooden spatula. Where did you get it? Love the video! I think you convinced me to purchase this Pro grill to go with my original Lodge SG.
Tho folks at Cajun Classic Cookware gave that spatula to me, it’s personalized, engraved with Big Lew BBQ on it. I searched the Cajun Classic website and I didn’t see it listed. It may be too new of item, I only got mine this past Easter.
However, I found this on Amazon. It looks to be exact same thing, except it’s not in engraved with “Cajun Classic” or “Big Lew BBQ”.
