Gun laws won't do anything, people need to work better on security and mental illness. This guy specifically went there to kill her, most likely he was an obsessed stalker (mentally ill). The venue she was playing at had no metal detectors, the security only looked into bags for Firearms instead of patting people down, and the security was unarmed. This could have been avoided, but not by gun laws.

I love what you are trying to do but no one needs to "spread awareness about guns" you shouldn't be scared of guns you should be scared of the evil people behind them. There are some amazing people that own guns that use them for target practice or just protection while being around in town. Guns are a source of protection and a tool for food but there are some people that take advantage of the good and turn it into evil.
