they should make apps and widgets completely moveable so you can move it to wherever on the screen without clicking back to the default spots. then there would be way more customisation

I wish after over a decade that Apple would finally allow for some meaningful granular GUI customization within iOS like what the old jailbreaks used to offer.
Why the heck can’t we resize app icons and widgets, and/or add more icons to the taskbar?! Why can we adjust the grid, or move and play freely without grid-locking?
Apple is so annoying with their restrictions.

I think the AI features will be exclusive to iphone 16. They need something exclusive to sell iPhone 16 right. All cosmetic changes will be available for other iphones.

I want themes..and I don't mean the ones you can download - I mean 1st party option in the settings to CHOOSE your GUI to different major versions of iOS including thr icons, wallpapers and icons..such as iOS 6, 7, 10 and 11

Apple needs to do something different!!! I’m soooo bored with it!! The only reason I got an iPhone 14 Pro Max was for the Dynamic Island!! That’s how desperate I was to see something different on my screen!!🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️💀

We are talking about Apple right? I highly doubt we'll get even 30% of what was mentioned. If we do, I may have to wait for v18.0.4 to even consider upgrading with all the bugs. If we dumb things Apple down: New SIRI (smarter but won't be what everyone is thinking in terms of everything AI), VisionOS theme (just look and feel), and more dynamic island integrations since all models now have it. Oh yea, maybe some neat Apple photos feature like removing objects/people and screen search but that's prob limited to only the 16s. Or how about just a simple "pause" when recording a video and then continuing so the regular users don't have to do any post. For the record, I'm not a Samsung/Android user, I have an iPhone 15 pro max. Both sides copy each other every year, there's nothing new about it so let's copy the things we want!

android user here. there are videos on here to customize the action button, press and hold photos and move them, hold the space bar to insert the cursor in between letters while typing....
Why is the damn action button limited to one action??
Why can’t we have different actions for say short click, long press, double click, triple click?
For that matter why isn’t there capacitive touch functionality like swiping up or down?

How the heck are they gonna come out with all these updates to the Public and still have crap battery life? iOS 17.4.1 is the newest public update and it makes your phone have worst battery life! I’d rather have more stability than more features! iOS 17.4.1 battery drain reminds me of iOS 17 beta 1.
I just wanna Throw my iPhone in the trash or sell my current iPhone 15 and re buy it so I can get a lower iOS version. iOS 17.0.2 has better battery life!!!
