Not sure if you’ll see this but my relationship ended around the same time you posted that update video and we were planning to get married as well. Seeing it really gave me hope that I’d be ok, regardless of what happens down the line. I thank you for sharing it because it really was hard on me to the point where my mental health suffered for a bit. And I’m thankful to say I’m doing wayyy better.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve shared less and less…one of the main ones being relationships. Although people for the most part mean well, we can all agree that no one wants to talk about a relationship that’s ended. It’s like why even ask?! Platform or not, you’re not obligated to share. As you said, it’s a privilege to get what we get. 👈🏾👈🏾👈🏾

Sharing any part of your personal life on social media I'm sure can be hard especially when people expect more than they should. But it's your life you choose what is comfortable for you to share. I love that you are setting and respecting your personal boundaries about not going into certain details with your personal life. I do want to say that you have inspired me with how you have continued to move through life gracefully after your breakup. I’m 27 years old and I was in a long term relationship that I felt trapped in. He had become abusive but also wanted to get married and start a family. I didn’t feel like I had the strength to leave and I felt pressured because I thought “I’m already 27 this is the age where I should start thinking about marriage and family.” I finally found the strength to leave, and although a lot of things contributed to my decision, you were one of the inspirations that I had because I saw that you were still a strong woman after your breakup. I am not at all implying that you were in a similar unhealthy relationship to me, but it’s nice to see a woman who is choosing to love herself and not feed into the pressure that society puts on us to be validated by a man. The one thing I’ve learned after that relationship is that I would much rather be alone and happy, than to be with a man who is controlling me and making me miserable.

It took me 1 year to start to feel better after my divorce. It was very toxic so maybe that’s why it took me so long. Now I love being alone! I don't think people are necessarily saying it's "the end of the world" because they are asking you relationship questions that have to do with being lonely. I think people look up to you, and the ones that have been here for awhile have seen you through two long term relationships, so respect your response. I was one of the folks who asked you a similar question, and you are so blessed to live near family when you are going through life changes. We all don't have that luxury. Each day women are more beautiful than ever, I'm from another generation were we didn't give such importante to looks, but I really appreciate that self care it's important. But don't forget to do it to yourselves, you don't need that kind of validation from no one. On other hand I see dating life being harder and harder, man no longer value beauty, you see it's everywhere. Today they got anoyed by a bit of celulite, while in times of my mother and previous generations women don't even shaved their legs and man didn't loosed attraction even after years of marriage. Also there happening another problem, man are loosing testosterone because of excess of pornografic content in internet, they need higher and higher doses of dopamine, it means a regular beautifully women won't be enough to fulfill them. We are facing modern problems related to advance of our society and that are isolating us from each other as a species.
