MHGU Arena: Boltreaver + Soulseer

More Boltreaver 😛. Some mistakes + bad Soulseer rng, usually he will move less or maybe even reach exhaust state, which is a lot of free hits. I wanted to reach a better time but my time to play is pretty limited in the summer and I want to try other quests. I’ve been having more fun with GU than Rise lately...

Is soulseer arms better than head hit zones?

I think it’s the same. Looking at Kiranico it looks like 50 for head (52 when enraged) and 52 for arms and tail after he licks them

never seen anyone use rusted weapons, let alone for a speedrun. I skipped on GU, did they get a buff in this game or something?

I should have said in the description, it’s an arena quest with preset gear. Rusted weapons are definitely not optimal, the -70% affinity would be very bad for speedruns

@@caolanberg3837 Sorry, I didn't make it clear that I knew that beforehand. Arena sets usually have some viability to offer, though, so I was wondering if the set you picked made the Rusted Greatsword any decent? I remember in Gen they never even got Green Sharpness, so seeing it with Blue in GU was a surprise already

@@sachi7614 I wasn’t sure so I looked it up, this is the upgraded version of a worn gs and not a rusted one. Sharpness +1 gets it to blue and Sharpness +2 gets it to white. The rusted gs needs sharpness +2 just to get to green and also has terrible raw
