Thanks for reacting to “Please Stay.” It reminds me so much of Beautiful Pain. But unlike Beautiful Pain which ends with them all crying, Please Stay ends with a resignation or perhaps acceptance. Themes of warmth, letting go vs holding on, memories disappearing, and everything turning to sand/ash.
I really love the way you spend time with BTOB, the ways you appreciate them and are present in your reactions. Thanks! That sketch video Eunkwang's Instagram message helped me realize how concerned some Melodies are about the future of BTOB and how concerned the members are about Melodies staying with them. It surprises me because I feel like they're killing themselves as individuals and sub-units to produce content and performances for us while they're still trying to transition into the next 20 years of BTOB. On top of the amount they are producing, the quality is so high. That's BTOB. I love them. 💙 “Please Stay” is simple, relatable, emotional and easy to sing along to. With the real instruments (including the guitar you talked about) as opposed to synthesizer instrumentation, this is the song I would love to hear the members play and sing, especially since many of them originally joined Cube for a band project.
