Higher is a story about Siren (mermen) who have fallen in love with someone from the surface (represented by the moon) and throughout the song they are under water longing for that person and debating themselves about what to do, and on the last chorus they finally went to the surface to be reunited with the one they love. Also, yes, you are right they are called A.C.E because they were aces in their former company before debuting under their current company. They were taken not as trainee but as a group who will debut since they were already aces. They just practiced to be a more fluid group (vocal, dances, and performance).

You're very much on point with what Savage is about and about Pinata, the reason why the title is written as Pinata instead of Piñata is because it's a pun of some sort in Korean and it means escape. So interpreting it as escaping is probably accurate. Escape societal norms and chase after your dreams is a recurring message in their songs. There is an overarching lore in the MVs but no one I know has deciphered it yet. LOL Tbh, no one really knows what's going in Higher. But I do think that the parts of the MV when they're doing the chorus choreo, they are supposed to be underwater because the ceiling looks like waves. I recommend Goblin and Undercover and fyi, Goblin has a director's cut MV on top of the regular one so you can watch both for extra enjoyment. :)
I think you would like 'slow dive' by A.C.E as well, i recommend you watch the dance practice, is a must!! and maybe a lyric video or the live stage performance on your own (unfortunately there's no mv). A.C.E is one of my ult groups for a reason!! I love them sooo much!!! If there is any kind of content in particular that you want to see from them I can give you so many suggestions!!! In my opinion, they are the most visual group in all of kpop and before anyone says anything: I don't care if you disagree, my opinion is my opinion and it won't change so argue with the wall. They are so underrated it's actually ridiculous. Donghun..... That's the loml right there and, again my opinion that no one has to agree with, he is the prettiest man on this planet. 'My Girl' is an exceptionally cute MV because those are actual fans in the vid and you can watch them learning the choreo from the members and everything through their special little skit they did called 'ACE Company' which is on their yt channel and does have Eng subs although for part 2 some of the vids they clearly used autotranslated subs but oh well. These guys are also absolutely hilarious and dgaf about their idol images lol. They are super close too ❤

A.C.E are really good at live performances. Their choreo is insane and they still sing live every single time.
