I need matx case for my matx mobo. Like o11 mini but that shit is crazy expensive in my country. Double the prize of o11 full tower. I have now deepcool macube 110 matx case. I want a lian li type case that i can showcase my entire build.

Plus you get 10% off Hyte when you sign up for an account. I don't have either case, but I would go with the Y40 if I want to vertical mount. Montech would be the choice for a horizontal GPU since the Y40 only does vertical..
I agree but the cable management on the Hyte is, let's say, the less important thin for the manufacturer. If you add a price of €180 for the Hyte you get a no no.

One thing that is not mentioned is that the hyte y40 comes with vertical mount and riser cables that can easily cost $60-90. So if you want to vertically mount your gpu, you will have to pay more in total than the hyte y40 since you need to get the mount.
@Johnathon Singh People are going to get the y40/y60 for vertical mounting. Otherwise, just get another case. It's like buying an iPhone and only doing phone calls with it.
I just did my build in this case but in black. It looks great, and the rgb on the fans is very nice looking. The only thing I don't like about it is even though the fans give great air flow, they can be a bit noisy. Especially during gameplay when they ramp up. But at least you can control the fans and RGB through your mobo, and they are quiet when you lower the fan speed curve.
I am a small time PC Builder located in Texas. I hate to be this guy but there have been 2 cases in 2022 that surprised me in a good way. The DIY-PC IDX6 and the SAMA IM-02, they are extremely cheap and you get plenty for your money. I suggest doing budget next-gen builds in these cases. Keep up the excellent work, your builds and B-roll are always badass, and hello from the States!

Cheaper and better is LC-Power 804B Obsession X case ❤, got it for 69 Euros and im happy with it (3x 140mm ARGB fans at front and 1x 120mm at back), perfect for money, have TypeC port, good build quality!
I ve seen review of pc hardware since 2013 but non of them is that detailed. I ve seen review of b760 and it was so detailed too, you explain thing with minor details i am big fan of yours right now. I wish I hit like button more than one time.
I always tell people not to mount fans under a vertically mounted card. Because hot air is exhausted out the sides of the cooler. So it literally pushes hot air back into the card.
those included rgb fans are not cheap looking, however the difference with HYTE that makes the customers willing to pay more is the tempered glass and framing of the case, the HYTE cases look more visually appealing to me because the bezel around the tempered glass and the frames make it seems like the view into the case is not obstructed, as my local PC shop calls it "AQUARIUM" case

I will say that i like the exterior design a bit more on the montech. Having the glass be 1/3 the height of the case and than having a covered mesh area for the power supply looks nicer to me than how hyte did the whole glass panel with interior psu cover. Personal preference but i thinkr that looks lile shit lol.

I need these freakin fans in my inverted Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo as bottom intakes and why not the whole darn case except for my AIO cooler where 3 EK Vardar Evo 120mm fans reside :) . I was going to search the older 'squared' fans from Enermax. I don't know if any 'inverted' blades fans are out on the market yet. I need dat RGB maan :D !
The y40 airflow isn’t great in my opinion, it works well enough for water cooling…feel like it could be 3-5c better is bottom to top air flow was better
Anyone know where I can buy the fans at? I wanted to get more for my 360 AIO since they look so clean but I can’t find them anywhere even when I looked on the montech website. It shows them on the website but doesn’t say if they sell them separately.
I’m so confused on how to get custom RGB on this case I’ve already tried holding the LED button down for 3 seconds to sync to the motherboard but no RGB control software is picking it up. I have a Asus motherboard and already have armory crate installed and still nothing :( if anyone can help me that would be awesome.
lol i just ordered this but i saw a video about the hyte and started second guessing myself then youtube showed me this like "nah bro you made a good decision" edit: got it all together got an ak620 air cooler on 7700x with 6950 xt everything fits like a glove and looks amazing with a white cooler cable management is life saving!! however i am unable to find where to order more matching fans and the vertical gpu mount kit
So I ordered this case in white from microcenter and I got reverse fans with grey fan blades? Shouldnt they be white Edit: actually Ig this was a change for production models. Oh well its not too bad
@@pezdacandyboi well its just like the pictures on amazon at least for the white model. The reverse fans on the white model have grey blades while the exhaust fan has white.
Can I use just about any fan on the bottom part of the case? I plan to just remove the exhaust fan on the back and put a mini monitor, then put two fans on the bottom.

Good catch, the y40 comes with a gen 4 pcie riser cable and the phanteks gen 3 is 40 bucks, the gen 4 is 70 from phanteks and 120 from nzxt.

The Montech does come with 4 very nice looking rgb fans and it comes in an all white color scheme which adds value
Vertical GPU mounts and wiser and your GPU will loose performance for sure. I would use on board slot for maximum performance.

I just purchased that case recently but the pwm hub still having the same issue.
I dig this case!! A bit sad that I already have one on the way. I also dig that beat that you used behind that build sequence.

The issue isn't that we don't want to cover these kind of cases, it's that we're in Australia and it's sometimes hard to get them sent out :)

I like that its higher over the y40, makes 360 rads in top look alot better
