Learn some basic Amharic, you won't regret it! I'm in the DC/VA/MD area, and there are a lot of awesome Ethiopians here, so I get a chance to use it regularly. Cheers,
I been to Ethiopia three times and one of my favorite place in Africa to travel lot of cultures and history. I love those juice they are so good I have them couple of times in a day as I'm vegetarian
Yes its an amazing place with a rich culture and amazing history. The people are also really nice. Its actually a great place to be a vegetarian, a lot of options. Thank you for the support!
you know damn well it is not full of love. our country is dying from genocide, there is not any security here and the people are all mekgna and would do anything to stop you from being successful. period that is what Ethiopia is all
Hi Myer I'm originally from Ethiopia and I'm following you. I was watching your recent video in Ethiopia and I wanted to let you know that you're a person that has a positive Vibration, well cultured , and unlike other RUclipsr's out there, you explain a well versed Ethiopian culture, the people, and the environment. I appreciate the fact that you don't say anything negative but only positive. I was praying for you that no one wouldn't take your kindness, positive attitude, and friendly personality as a weakness. I'm also impressed with how well you speak and pronounce the amaharic language. I'm glad your enjoyed your visit in Ethiopia. I'm ready to go to Ethiopia in July for a month vacation. I'm from Colorado and this will be my 5th trip to my hometown, Addis Ababa. God Bless you, and keep up your positive Vibrations.
I love the fresh fruit juice in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 And I miss my beloved 😢 Ethiopia❤️ 🇪🇹 You should try mango and avocado 🥑 papaya😋 and It is true there's no fresh fruit in America to drink except you can make it at home..
That place is pretty special to me since it was where we and my ex used to hang out and you're walking around where we used to so. So much memories man
@Haifa Tariq Its not an official name. Its just that Japanese embassy resides there and people have adapted to calling the place in the formal area name of bole and to be more specific bole japan. But Mexico square is an official designation for its stance with Ethiopia on the league of nation during ww2 italy invasion.
Nice city becareful out their wach your staff their is bad people try to steal also if you get chance go to Awasa, Arbaminch ,Baherdar have a good visit proud of you
The dancing men 🎉 it’s our culture,it starts couple days before new year. The men have their own song and women have our own. We go from on house to another in our neighborhood to sing that song and wish the people a prosperous and peaceful life for the upcoming year. Normally the kids do that. But in Oromo culture the older men also sing the song they were singing in the beginning of this video. ❤
This is not regular occurrence. The people who were singing are from oromo tribe wearing traditional head gear. This is a new year tradition in Ethiopia. They visit and sing to every household either people give them money or food ie(traditional bread).
Great job! May God bless you!!! I like and appreciate the way you try show Ethiopia, personally believe that the government and others should sponsor your stay!!! I am willing to cover your expenses for a day next time. Thank you!!!
