Viele liebe Grüße aus Deutschland und Dir wünsche ich noch viel Freude in Äthiopien ♡
@Not quite. Lake Tana provides only 7% of the waters that become the Blue Nile. Yes, the Blue Nile [Abay] river orginates from the Lake Tana but the lake is NOT the main source of the waters that become the Blue Nile. The rest - a whopping 93% of the waters of the Blue Nile - come via the tributaries that join the Blue Nile along the way which originate mostly in the much wetter provinces of 'Wollega' & 'ilu-babor' - both in Oromia. Of course, the monsoon rains from the Atlantic feed the tributaries & the Blue Nile during the main rainy months of June, July & August. the Blue Nile flows westwards towards the White Nile in Khartoum (Sudan), Cairo (Egypt) & then on to the Mediterranean Sea. Unfortunately, there are lots of inaccurate stories/facts that the poor Ethiopians are fed, even by their own mostly badly-educated teachers.
@@abuhaile6517 - good enough for what? ..To flush the toilets that your stone-age weito relatives have not discovered yet, let alone build & use it? Note: the origin of a river is determined by white geographers. It is a subjective determination as anyone of the tributaries of the Blue Nile could have easily been selected as "the source" river. For example, the source of the main Nile River was determined to be Lake Victoria (Uganda) by white geographers. But, other white geographers disagree & say that the source of the main Nile should be the Blue Nile because this 'tributary of the main Nile' actually provides more than 60% of the Nile waters. [Ethiopia contributes 85% of the total waters that become the main Nile]. The White Nile that comes from Lake Victoria contributes only 14% of the waters that reach Khartoum & Cairo as most of its waters are "wasted" in a vast swamp called "The Sudd", located in South Sudan. Why am I telling you all this? Oh, yes, one way or the other, it is the white people who determine what is what in Africa. We Africans are basically irrelevant in such & most things concerning our own continent. Why? Because we are zinjeros. Bye.

Bahir Dar is my hometown, although I now live in the west, I’ve been following it closely and it literally has turned into something I can’t even recognize. Beautiful city. Thanks for the video, feeling homesick now😂

Happy birthday🎉 How old now😊 Resort looks lively and relaxing and people look so friendly. Are there any crocodiles and monitor lizards or hippos in the lake or in the surrounding of the resort?
It’s generally hard to go around with a camera in Ethiopia and I can imagine it being harder in eastern/majority Muslim regions. Recording women etc.. let me know if I’m wrong 😊
The presidency of the world; people are in torment sitting in their places. Because the water man lives on land and the dry man lives in water. For example: Iranians are fond of water, Londoners are fond of dry land. People are tired of their lives, forced to spend days and nights. There is a solution, research is needed.
