Thanks for watching, don't forget to comment what filter you're running down below. K&N have always been my go to. 😄👍 Any turbo guard's or open turbo's out there?
Currently in the process of doing a very similar build to you, just at a much slower pace 😅 Wealth of knowledge and tips in your videos! Also planning on running a K&N filter like yours.
I hear you about space constraints. I have an air conditioner pump and cat 🙀 surrounding my oil filter. Previous owner hadn't changed filter in years. I got it of eventually with crow bar and hammer
Привет скажи а что лучше места для размещения воздушного фильтра ты не нашёл?)))он же находится внизу и будет тянуть пыль от самой дороги,а если не дай Бог заехать в лужу что можно моментально схватить гидроудар🤦♂️
If you drive through a puddle and it splashes the filter you’re unlikely to hydrolock the engine. It’s more likely to be like water injection so yay! 😃
Hi, I'm pretty sure I did cover this @7:50 in the video. I have re-installed the splash guards / undertrays to limit any water / dust, dirt getting to the filter. Just to clarify: The lowest point of the filter is 28cm off the ground, the entry to the intake pipe is 35cm off the ground. The floor of the car is 15cm off the ground so it would be floating! Not worried about this setup as I've had cars with lower filters and never had problems. I can't recommend what's safe for you, just use your best judgement. Obviously hydro locking the engine would be a bad thing and should be avoided!

Wow, been there! Thankfully mine had no A/C so the filter can fit in.
