Don't know it was an update or somethin, but yesterday i saw that local give you 100 percent reduced debuff from county radicalism, dedicated police don't.
@@Putzgriloss unfortunately, the effective max lvl of Local Police force seems to be lvl 3, unlike Dedicated and Militarized police; this factor actually limits it to -60% radicals and not -100% radicals in practice.
For me, one thing the miss in Vic3 is randomness, it's always the same nation that stay strong, Civ 5 and 6 sometimes the nation get strong, and another they be so weak
I would agree that Vick need some variety. Not necessarily randomness but the possibility of unhistoric turn of events. The return of Byzantium trough superpower interference, France try to restore Charlemagne borders, Russia modernizes quickly etc!

Great video. I Wouldn't mind a video on how to keep radicals down and how to keep a stable and legitimate government. That's what I seem to struggle with.
I could indeed! Generally though the early game is going to be full of radicals and one might need to accept that unfortunately. Late game though you give everybody jobs, low taxation amd automation to keep wages high as well as universal sufferage and parlimentary republic will create huge amounts of loyalists which will reduce radicals and keep every interest group happy so you get their bonuses. Funny how not even a almost hour long video doesn't cover everything
There is great nuance to everything. Nowadays all communist ideologies are not meta anymore. It's not that you can't do it. It's just not meta. Especially command economy. If you allow foreign countries to build in your country, council republic can naturally help a lot. Local police is also not bad and can help please landowners. Their clout is not significant anyways. Earlygame aristocrats have all the money. It's not efficient to wait around until otherwise. So movements are what reform the country. Or cornlaws. So building farms or fisheries and then going to the previous lvl to get grain expensive is the best trick. It just takes time depending on the country.
Cooperatives being non-meta comes down to SOL not being important since you can just cheese migration from India or China. You are still wanting mass migrations late game its just achivable trough capitalism now, so you can just stay on LF if you want. Cornlaws is also meta beacuse you dont need to build anything really just export all your corn and its done. So building farms is still not meta. Aristocrats is only going to invest in manor houses anyway so less of them is just good. Its a video that is getting older and older but base points still stands. Just import all agriculture unless its late game plantations and build stuff that boosts capitalists and keep trade unions happy.

Local Police force is a horrific policy as well, unnecessary buff to the landowners with no positive over dedicated police.
It is indeed! I only mentioned it briefly but you are absolutely correct.

Simplified: adopt communism
At some point, yes! A bit of capitalism first
