Thank you for sharing about the Abide bible. I love being able to get a peek into this bible before purchasing it. I am drawn to the ways it helps us interact with the Scriptures. I think all the creative ways are compelling and I would want to engage with Jesus through all of them.
I love the journaling prompts. I think tat would be great for me to have a jump start to reflection and for it to be right there in the book and not a separate notebook that I lose a week later.

This Bible looks so neat. I agree with a lot of people, the praying scripture prompts and the journaling prompts are a great idea!! I'm not super creative and feel like these prompts would help me explore the Bible in a way I've been wanting to for awhile.
The Abide Bible would be very welcomed in my home I just gave my Thomas Nelson Study Bible to my 14 yr old grandson I’ve never been more proud than when he came and asked me if I had a Bible he could have of his own. I personally have never owned a Bible with journal prompts or one that taught me how to pray the scripture. Praying the scripture would be very exciting to me because I often feel my prayers are lacking and prayer is something I do a lot of! I will be praying I win because I have no other way to afford such a beautiful unique treasure!

A very beautiful Bible. It's the Journaling prompts that caught my attention. Those really help me to slow down and really reflect on what I'm reading but I'm horrible on coming up with my own journaling prompts. Also the applying to my life now, I need more help with that.
I love the name Abide. It makes me think of John 15. We are called to abide in the vine. Apart from him we can do nothing. I love the journaling and prayer prompts and the artwork looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing your review.
I really liked the journaling prompts. It is not a strong suit for me and it would be so helpful to be guided that way. To contemplate. I find I remember things better if I write them down. . I also appreciate the pictures. I think graphically and seeing these beautiful artworks, depictions of the bible would be a great help to me to keep me abiding in Jesus my precious Lord and Saviour.
I have been looking for a new Bible for my High School Graduate. She is an incredible artist.and the Art will inspire her. This will make a great grad gift for her.
For me, the artwork would be a huge bonus in studying the portion of Scripture I would read each day. Artwork speaks to me in volumes! And I saw one of my favorite paintings when you flipped through the Bible in the video!

I would really enjoy this bible. I am a journaler, so the journaling prompts are right down my alley. I have also been learning to pray scripture, so the praying scripture feature in this bible would be very helpful.
Journaling is always difficult for me. I like that it gives you prompts to get you thinking and taking it deeper. The way it engages sight, thought, and heart.
Because I am a visual learner and I appreciate art, my favorite feature is the unique concept of comparing art with Scripture. I also look forward to delving into the Contemplate feature.

Aww I love that your kids see you highlighting your Bible what a great way to show them that Gods word is so applicable to our daily lives. I especially like the creative pictures that help you engage with Scriptures in a visual way. The praying Scriptures portion is also a plus to the Bible. The title.. ABIDE BIBLE...is very phenomenal. The cloth cover is unique.
I was so excited to see you feature this Bible, Asheritah! My 'one word' for 2023 is ABIDE - how cool! The features I really like are margins with not only space to write notes, but also with great prompts to reflect, write, journal, pray . . . what a great idea! But I think the feature I like BEST is the Picture It prompt . . . so many times we forget to actually picture what the setting was like for that passage. This is a good reminder! Hi Asheritah! I am coming back to this post because I have never received the Abide Bible I was supposed to. I followed the steps and provided my mailing address to Katherine, who said she passed it along to the publisher, but I have never received the Bible. I am so sad about this because I was really looking forward to deepening my prayer life with this new tool and it has never shown up as promised. Is there any way to remedy this?
Oh my goodness....the song "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus...was based on a pamphlet written by a beautiful saint, Lilias Trotter called "Foccusing". Within that pamphlet, she refers to "this one thing" twice. What a moving similarity to this ministry. Thank you for this video. This Bible is something I welcome ! Lilias was a tremendous artist who relinquished her very promising career in art so that she could spend over 40 years ministering to the folks of the Muslim religion in northern Africa in the early 1900's.

Your voice and the music in them are so soothing and calming. It really gets me in the mood and frame of mind to pray. I'd love to get chosen for one of these Bibles. It's been a long while since I've had a new Bible and the way you described how this one helps you meditate on God sounds wonderful. I'd love to learn more about how to meditate and store God's word in my heart and mind so it would come back to me when I need it. I would love to have this Abide Bible. The practical aids would be so helpful for digging into the Scripture and praying from Scripture. I love the beautiful illustrations, they look like they would bring the adjoining Scriptures to life.

I totally LOVE the journaling prompts cuz it feels like it will get me right into application of the days msg into the reality of my day to day life! I also happen to be praying about where the Lord wants me to direct my writing these days and am sooo very hungry & consumed with my time in the word these days...My heart wants to have more time, more ways & more ministry literally grow out of the precious times I het to spend with Him & in His precious word every day!!! I think I have an addiction to God's word & I also think I NEED to find more ways for it to ABIDE in my heart as my time in it winds down & the day has to move in on me!
I have been having trouble reading my Bible lately. This abide Bible is exactly what I need to help me get back on track with God's word. The prompts and the scriptures look motivational! I need to learn praying meditating! I like the visuals/art in the Bible, amazing!
I have had my eye on this Bible for a while now and am so happy you did a flip through! I love the art in it and think the blend of that art with the prayer, journaling, and contemplation prompts will be really helpful for quiet devotional reading and prayer time (like at bedtime). That is the Bible I have been looking for! I have purchased many Bibles over the last few years to facilitate my communication with God. But I still have to use more than one (or three) Bible to get to the point where I understand what God is trying to say to me at any given time. One of the things I liked best is the praying scripture prompts. It is such a strong addition to prayer. I also liked the contemplation prompts. The Abide Bible is what I need to draw closer to God again! I love the artwork and how it has prayers and devotions. I hope I will become close to God again.
That is the Bible I have been looking for! I have purchased many Bibles over the last few years to facilitate my communication with God. But I still have to use more than one (or three) Bible to get to the point where I understand what God is trying to say to me at any given time. One of the things I liked best is the praying scripture prompts. It is such a strong addition to prayer. I also liked the contemplation prompts. I would like to contemplate/meditate on God's Word, but have no idea how to begin. Thank you for your review.
