beautiful unboxing! I just love how you show literally everything that comes in the box (even every page in the instruction manual)! I recently bought Dark Souls: The Board Game and I love it. Thanks to your reviews I now can see exactly what I'd be getting with each expansion and which ones I want to get first. Keep doing you, buddy!
It's a shame they didn't get more inventive with the cursed artorias greatsword moveset, considering how in-game you flip towards enemies and spin. I was expecting at least a stamina required move that gives you 2 movement (like the leap spin attack) and deals damage.
@@TabletopDuo Oh well, there's always homeruling/homebrewing! I actually plan on creating a bunch of new cards on powerpoint to print off onto cardboard and use on the game. The freedom to add to a boardgame and make it better is what really sells them to me!
@@TabletopDuo I just finished off a bunch of "level 4" (for after you beat main boss) enemy cards, and my very first endgame boss Sinh the slumbering dragon. I'll definitely need to look at some of those 3d printed models! Thanks for giving me a heads up about them.
Hey, could you do a long homemade (I mean, it's not in the rulebook) campaign including all the minibosses and main bosses? (and even megabosses (if you have any) )
@@TabletopDuo Hey, I got a homemade idea for fighting the Smelter Demon! You know, the Smelter Demon drops his armor and two swords (normal and Aged). Aged is considerably more powerful than normal, so basically normal is useless. Well, to balance a bit, I think about this: -Fighting the normal Smelter Demon (all the normal game stats and cards and stuff) awards you with his armor and the normal sword. -If you want to get the Aged, you must: --Increase the health from 22 to 33 --Increase any damage it deals by 1 --Increase the dodge difficulty by 1 --Beating the Smelter Demon on this difficulty increase will drop the armor, the normal sword AND also the aged sword --This is to mimic the Blue Smelter Demon, that in-game is stronger than the normal and drops the Aged Smelter Sword What do you think?
@@TabletopDuo You welcome! Btw, the rulebook lied (says that there's behavior cards with 0 Dodge Difficulty but there's no of them). Also Artorias seems to be the hardest out of the Main Bosses because: -Try to get distance? He'll leap towards you -It's not a good idea to rely on one type of block as he deals both types of damage -Spend high stamina on attacks? He'll stagger you so you're forced to use lighter attacks -He has high defense values -You're a dodging character? One of your rolls will fail sooner or later due to his combo cards where he makes multiple attacks in a row
2:26, looks like you put Sif's bottom half of the dial into Artorias's top half :D . Artorias has 25hp per his data card, Sif has 36, so there should be no reason for Artorias's dial to go above 30.
I have a question with the shears scarecrows, if it attacks me and I dodge it but fail does 6 damage or only 3, because it has the repetitive attack icon
Didn't expect it at all but I really appreciate you putting the card sleeve sizes in. Thank you.
You are welcome
MORE DARK SOULS!!!!!!! Thank u for the videos Nick!
