- around 9:15am EST on December 10th the fire alarm sounded in my building... one of the other tenants was cooking ramen and forgot about it (the kitchen is shared with all 20 tenants) Made for a nice way to see Engine 7 and Ladder 1 and Amb 3 though
Fire alarms scare the crap out of me when I'm sleeping
BLOODREDGAMING me too.
The late-1980s' and early-1990s' refresh version of these alarms are known to make kids cry!
BLOODREDGAMING me too
Manuel
Same!
Sounds like a fire alarm from the olden days!
Robert Reinhart it sort of is
Yep, it sounds like the new ones in 1990! Sounded like an overnight false fire alarm when in my bedroom!
@@RJARRRPCGP Ikr I had one too! 😂😂😂
i think this is the best fire alarm video i've seen. i watch this video of yours the most. it's because is sounds a lot like the ones in my old apartment.
When I was 5 I was sleeping and the fire alarm went off and scare me half to death
Wheelock 7002t's you can tell by the skipping
Sounds just like a fire drill at my High School!!
Those alarms sound like the ones in my apt. building. Funny thing is I'm a volunteer firefighter lol
My late childhood, when they were brand new! (installed in 1989 or 1990) Rutland, Vermont at 74 Park St. and 77 Park St.
The time when low frequency Sounders weren't probably invented
And now they're part of fire code. Over here in Australia they're used everywhere.
As the bagpipes strike up with cane reeds... LOL!
This is awesome I love fire alarmed
That alarm system sounds like quite an attention getter!
7002Ts are loud but, I much rather those on continuous than a Spectralert Advance on T3.
Wouldn't surprise me if those are Wheelock 7002Ts and were installed in 1989, 1990 or 1988 and has an FCi FC-72 panel. (late-1980s to early 1990s version) Sounds just like 74 Park St. upstairs in Rutland, Vermont in the early-1990s. ;) (And 77 Park St. just across the street, where I had one that sounded like the outdoor one here, in my bedroom!) Sadly, they may have been expelled just for the sake of change, about 25 years later... The beginning sounds just like when I was in the biggest bedroom at 74 Park St. upstairs with one outside my bedroom, in the living room and dining room and the slightly lower pitched one in the kitchen. Opening the bedroom door I usually use sounds like: 0:17
this sounds very similar to the fire alarm that these punk kids set off in the middle of the night once when I was staying at a Holiday Inn in Boston.
And yeah, the only downside of living in an apartment/duplex is that someone else's careless mistake could set the entire building on fire. >_>
Fire alarm goes off guy ties his shoe
Woah, sounds just like my late childhood and a bunch of false fire alarm incidents, where many weren't a kid or teen pulling it! Especially 1990, 1991 and 1992!
Except they were all indoors, not outdoors... Sounds just like the 2 Wheelock 7002Ts at 74 Park St. upstairs (Rutland, Vt.) when at the Vermont Achievement Center.
With one in the dining room and living room area and the second one close by, in the kitchen. (the kitchen had the slightly lower pitched one) And the first part of this video sounds like when I'm in my bedroom at night! In 1990 and 1992, when I moved back there, IIRC, because 77 Park St., across the street, was apparently sold! Looks like V.A.C. sold 77 Park St. in 1992!
I'm a former Marine brat, I've been in a couple of bachelor officer quarters buildings with the shared kitchen concept. A shared kitchen really wasn't discusting but it was not 100% clean either. Especially with the sink being clogged in ot them!. :-/
@NHComputerGeek Yeah just depends on what city you live in. Most of the time when the Fire Alarm goes off at my college. They usually send out 1 engine which arrives first than the air/ladder truck second usually 2 minutes apart for some reason. In there's only 1 ladder truck where I live.
Wheelock 7002T!
Yaaayyyy!! Wheelocks!!!
@NHComputerGeek In most cases the Engine arrives first when a buildings fire alarm is going off.
i like this video.
That sounds like the alarms at Sassafras my group home in Watertown
@trevordon1021 idk i guess it just depends on who arrives first in this city. im in the dorms at college now and the ladder was first on scene
His computer is old he's still running Windows XP and he had Facebook open with some sort of messenger program running.
@NHComputerGeek What panel is that for the fire alarm system?
How long did u guys have to put up with that ?
Not the Ramen
His is the kitchen shared with all the tenants
In my perspective, a Wheelock 7002t isn't that loud.
Maybe a faulty FACP or wiring... Like I suspect, at one of my schools, where the '9833s next to the gym, sounded quiet! And the original SpectrAlert that was randomly installed on one end of the gym right near a '9833, was a jokester of a fire alarm, was the quietest one I can recall in my life!
Wheelock 7002t I believe.
Smoke in house ventilation.
Would hate to be around when that fire alarm went off
what fire department do you have.
This complex sounds like it uses Wheelock horns they skip like 7002t's but I don't see any strobe flashes so either his camera can't pick them up or these are the 34t's which are basically the strobe-less model. What is the red light that I see on the front porch for?
red light I BELIEVE is to tell you when the fire alarm's been activated :D
They're either 7002s or 7002ts. 34ts don't skip.
fun times right
The fire alarm in this video is the ones at my school and they scare me
Wheelock 7002t I'd know that sound anywhere
I know this place, it's the Fellowship House :D
@jake479925 whaat? lol and the only reason they took so long was because this station is up on the heights (normal driving time about 5 mins) the station on this side of town took longer for idk what reason, (they had the laddar truck)
custom build, dual boot xp and 7 for compatability and testing purposes, Xchat IRC Client, and yes, facebook :P
my school has those alarms they are so quiet
Do they have volume settings? Because they about made me deaf in elementary!!
Mmmmm....extra crispy ramen...nice...Naruto anyone?
wat city is this
Man I bet they get annoying after awhile
Wheelock 7200ts FTW
Wheel lock
Wheelock 7002t's nice lol
The alarms must be Wheelock 34t horns since I don't see any strobe flashes.
Look closely at 0:18 and you'll see a flashing strobe. These are 7002t alarms.
SuperWorldFan360 any idea what the panel might be?
+Gary Beltz IDK, Gamewell maybe? Judging by the pull station box mounted outside on the front porch.
and plus the skipping also.
+SuperWorldFan360 The skipping is definitely 7002t
Some other tenant was cooking and forgot about it, creating smoke.
what was that at 7:11 did something explode?
I mean 7:08
Concord NH
Ill Pass, no way would I share a kitchen or a bathroom.
Ik that sound anywhere Wheelock 7002ts
These wheelocks are kinda loud
Those are loud on this end I can only imagine what it was like for you.
Wheelock 7002ts in continuous.
Sounds like bag pipes
7002T
Oops wrong kind they sounded like my old school lol
really old camera
Wheelock 7002t's
Hold the f***ing camera straight
Why would you want to live in a place where you have to share a kitchen with 20 other people?
because mostly in american they do.
***** Not always.
but still its what happens in america mostly
Wheelock 7001ts
I wouldn't be able to go to sleep then/
Old?
I have a laptop that can run WINDOWS 3.1!
:P
and I have a Nintendo Entertainment System from 1985
Where was that
Concord New Hampshire across from a Mobil gas station. The system is still in service as of 2024
@travelsonic You think your computer is old???? MINE RUNS WINDOWS 1.0!! HA! BEAT THAT! XD
Was that an explosion at 7:08
Wow, your thumbnail looks just like the Notifier pull stations in (or were in) the Vermont Achievement Center school. (Rutland, Vermont) They were the classic gray Notifier pull stations.
Gamewell pull stations? Those are rare.
YOU DID NOT SHOW THE ALARM THE NEXT TIME THE FIRE ALARM COMES ON FILM IT IN THE SAME ROOM LET US ACTUALLY SEE THE ALARM OKAY??
+Billy baggins All caps is not necessary
Why wold u eat ramien in the morning nasty
Rip Headphone users (im one of them)
