So habe ich das Problem auch noch nie gehabt, ich habe auch schon Probleme mit dem BIOS eines Lenovo R61 gehabt, aber da konnte ich Windows starten und ein BIOS Update machen. In diesem Fall würde ich sagen erst mal herunterfahren, Akku raus, Netzstecker raus, und die Festplatte heraus nehmen. Dann den einschalt Knopf 20 - 30 Sekunden gedrückt halten, dadurch wird die Batterie im Gerät die eben genau das macht, nähmlich das BIOS und die Einstellungen bei behaltet entleert. Wenn auch dieser BIOS Reset nichts bringt musst du dir einen BOIS-Flash auf einen USB-Stick laden und das BIOS neu flashen, Tutorials dazu bekommst du auf RUclips, im Internet oder auf der Hersteller Seite. Ich hoffe ich konnte weiter helfen.
Das hat leider nicht geklappt :/ Habe jetzt aber Ubuntu 10.13 installieren können das Secureboot unterstützt.Gibt es denn noch einen anderen Weg Secureboot oder das Bios PW zurückzusetzen oder zu deaktivieren? Vllt sogar über Ubuntu?
Fragger93 Bring es mal zu Lenovo/ IBM, die können das Notebook an dem Server anschliessen an dem alles drauf gepackt wird bevor es verkauft wird, also Software, denn wenn ein Notebook frisch aus der Produktion kommt hat es ja auch noch kein Bios und Windows drauf.
as fragger has pointed out the lenovo g580 have smart boot enabled meaning that the bios will only recognise a smart boot operating system ie windows 8, 8.1 and windows 10. I have the same problem and I took a working hard drive with working windows 8 or 8.1( not sure which) and put it in lenovo and bingo it recognised the os and started to boot so what I intend to do next is load a fresh copy of windows 8 onto a hard drive then transfer it to lenovo load relevant drivers then reflash the bios, I will keep you posted as how it goes!

I succesfull installed Windows 8 again and selled this Laptop.Now i have an ASUS. You need an OS with Secureboot Support. No chance to Crack the Biospassword for me...
Tuan Nguyen All Windows 8 Versions have Secureboot Support.It was Set to "Load from Disk first" from the manufacturer. So it loaded the Disk at Startup (Only these with Secureboot Support such as Win8 or Ubuntu).
