Great! Well done!
I disagree a little bit with this video. The second requirement, good profile (all the documents?). It should not be all the documents but it should be a good profile indeed, which means a strong academic background, a strong motivation letter (but if it is good, it doesn't mean you will still get the place) usually it is about 15-25% of the whole evaluation. Now indeed all the documents are needed for an application (which is required anywhere, even in India) but that doesn't ensure you get a place at the uni. Private universities accept more applications because you are paying them (of course there are exceptions) but if you are applying for a public university (which is the first choice of any Indian student usually), you should plan your bachelor or prior study in advance. You need good academics, your profile should be in the direction of your motivation letter. It is really difficult to land a place in public universities. 80% of the people I know who applied to these unis were rejected and they kept trying for 2-3 times. As I said, the important thing here is not all the documents but a strong background (profile). So if you're a bachelor student and want to do your master's in the future in a renowned public university, work towards it. The same old fashion of completing your b tech with one night rush before the exam formula doesn't work here, plus you need to do a hell of extra work (projects, workshops, training) to hone your skills to match up to their requirements.
Thanks Amrtya for the clarification and add on, now they will get little idea about private and public universities.
