    One problem for me is that I am so good at belting and falsetto but I can't use my head voice. I mean, I want to but everytime I try it's always strained or something. As if there's something that blocks the air from going out.

      @aacha548 4 года назад +11

      Yes, most people call falsetto head voice. I think Freya uses falsetto to mean breathiness but if the true meaning of falsetto is singing on the thin edges of the folds then what people call head voice is actually falsetto. Also my understanding is that there might be a different vibration pattern for falsetto versus chest voice. The main thing is not to be breathy. I didn't know I was singing in a breathy voice for a very long time. I didn't know I was pushing too much but once I found out what I was doing wrong, it was easy to let it go not that it was easy to fix the breathiness.

    Freya I'm very sorry for my wrong doings. I act stupidly rude on you.
    I shouldn't say that to you. I truly regret for what I have said a long time ago. You may not remember it but it daunt me for ages.
    If you remember , when you were on a live stream , I told you to sing c+ key note and you sang it.
    But then I said " haha only 26 people watching you "
    And you kindly and so politely say " it's okay ☺️ "
    😭😭😭
    I felt really bad.
    I felt like I'm a bully.
    Freya I'm so sorry for saying such rude phrase to you.
    From now on I'm going to be good forever.
    I really hope that your channel escalate because you were such a kindhearted person.

      You know it takes real courage to admit your mistakes and apologize. You are not a bad person, a bad act doesn't need to define you and if you recognize what you did as wrong and are willing to stop doing it there's nothing of a bully about you. Good luck on your journey!

    Freya, I'm wondering what is the difference between head voice and falsetto, and head voice belting in a high register?

    • @haruki3520
      @haruki3520 3 года назад +11

      Falsetto is a thinner sound and is strictly in the 'head' and only uses the thin, leading edges of the vocal folds to vibrate. Head voice can be defined as a 'mix' of chest and head voice, which is generally a stronger sound than falsetto.

    • @DereBear
      @DereBear 3 года назад +3

      Head voice is connected to your chest voice, it’s your modal voice resonating in your head. If it breaks or you can’t connect it, it’s falsetto

    Hi Feya. My chest voice goes up to F5 ( above high C) with ease on an aye vowel . I can feel my vocale cord is very tihght when performing this f5 sound. Could you please inform me if it's normal and what's my vocal range? Thank you so much for your time

    • @existenceispain9932
      @existenceispain9932 4 года назад +5

      If your throat feels tight it's better not to practice in that range just yet. It means you are singing concentrating on your vocal chords to get the pitch right, but what you should be doing is supporting your voice from your diaphragm. If at any moment your throat feels strained, do NOT continue. Try to support your voice using your diaphragm, you should feel the reverberation in your head and not your throat :) Hope this helps!

    • @mikacherif7402

      @@existenceispain9932 Hi ok actually i can feel and hold the F5 sound in my head for about 40 seconds or until i ran out of breath. What makes me say that i'm in my chest voice or my full voice when performing the f5 sound is because it sounds a little bit deep. However i have leaned to brighthen my voice when performing the f5 sound. When i used my head voice or mix voice, i can also perform and hold a G4 sound on a A vowel for example in soft fashion for about 10 seconds. Please note that i've been develoving my voice through making different sounds high and low with resonance and breathsupport and through singing by using belting and mix voice mostly in a soft manner over the last 8 months. Consequentlymy head voice has been a little weak althought my head voice is getting stronger and stronger every day i practice.
      Therefore could you please determine approximately what my vocal register or type might possibly be?
      Thank you so much again for your time and very helpful singing tips

    “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
    ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬
    ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame”
    Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
    “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭
    God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 💞😊
