@@johnjohn8733 the newest video does show it. That one got me to order. Now I have the smaller of the two and my kitties see long haired and the biggest is around 15lbs. So far using it for a week they switched over naturally by day 3 and haven’t used their old separate jumbo litter boxes since then so I put them in the garage today. It’s pretty cool and it hooked up to the app easily second time even tho my router is 5g and 2.4 g. I didn’t have to do any complicated configuring. I’m no techie. Second time I just brought my phone closer to my router. Hope you like it if you decide to order
I live with a family member that can't bend over to clean this litter box . So I help by cleaning it . Could you put this on a small table or ? I'm just trying to make it easy for her to keep it clean. I use cinnamon oil on a piece of drift wood in the room as a natural air refresher.
This litter robot or a littler robot 4 always add litter every few days don’t let it get low also replace the bag every other day it won’t smell at all
@@darrylransier7231 I’ve actually used it for about a week because I went on a trip right after I got it but I’m very pleased thus far. No issues and my cats totally took to it by day three and didn’t use their regular jumbo litter boxes after that. Today I put them in the garage as they were just ignored. No coaxing or etc. I just placed clean litter with a little of each of their litter from their old boxes mixed in (it was ‘scooped’ but had their scent probably as I am pretty meticulous about scooping so I don’t leave dirty litter in their boxes). Anyway they were not afraid and have to go back to watch it during its clean cycle. It’s so quiet. I’m amazed. I did the whole RUclips comparison sites to compare and some RUclipsrs record noise levels of various brands. This one is Uber quiet. Some of them were quite a bit louder. Might scare some cats I think but this one… not at all for my kitties …Lol. I ’m liking it this far and it’s pretty amazing. I use sustainably yours clumping litter which I love and clumps hard. It’s pricey but good and it’s not sticking to sides or etc so far nor is it getting stuck in the grill this far as I feared it might. Hope this helps. I’ll update later. App is also so cool … you know when it’s used and when it cleans but you can control a cleaning cycle etc from the app.

I’m going to order from Amazon as returns if needed are easy. Is the waste bin a problem as far as it getting really messy due to the top of the inside of the door that opens I assume is getting in contact with the waste when it rotates through a cleaning cycle. Also how hard is it to wipe out the inside of the drum. I am very tidy and have two cats. Right now I have to scoop multiple times per each day and my smaller one has loose stools often. Any input from anyone?
@@TabbyTimeOut thank you! I got the smaller one and I love love it so far. My kitties who have previously each had their own jumbo covers litter boxes started being curious on day one and day two they started exploring it and now both are using it exclusively. Day 6 old litter boxes went to the garage. It’s easy and I do check the litter waste daily and once in a while a little piece remains in the litter box. I scoop it onto the waste bin. This thing is a miracle this far and it’s not even the new jumbo size. So far it’s amazing and accurately tracks each kitty’s weight and usage. Thanks for your reply.
Update: despite having one kitty that has pretty chronic loose stools and having two cats using one litter box which is the meowant with the smaller opening I am loving it! I’ve had this for almost half a year with very few problems… The only problems are occasionally my older cat does position herself to poop outside of the opening onto the litter mat, but that has happened only two or three times in all of the time I’ve had it and that’s not bad at all. Much better than scooping two XL litterboxes multiple times per day. I am generally very very happy with it and it is consistent, and I love the added features such as putting in a brand new waste bag and then pushing the empty button to get rid of all the old litter and then simply replacing it with new litter to clean it. I have not had any problems with much sticking to the walls or even the rake except very occasionally and it is not a hard cleanup. I use about a third or less of the litter I used to use and I use the very expensive one recommended by Jackson galaxy which is a great litter for my two cats, but pricey… Now with the lesser litter and only litter one box, I don’t consider that an extravagance anymore, but it works the best for my two cats. It’s a very fine litter and clumps very hard, but it has caused no problems in the meow machine. Other positive features i love are its that it’s very quiet when operating and I love that. The app on my phone shows me even when I’m away from home if one of my cats uses it, and I can even push an extra clean cycle remotely even far from my home when I am out if I so desire. I think it has OK odor control as far as the smell but lets face it, cat waste just smells bad… Mainly the waste in the bin and I change it often and use the gel deodorant that comes with the litter box and I do use a litter spray from arm and hammer inside of the clean litter box where the cats are. I don’t think any box can do better on odor control. Overall, I would give this thing a five star🤩 plus rating because I am very sensitive to odors and was scooping my two giant cat litters previously more than once or twice a day… now I don’t have that problem at all and only empty the bin about every three or four days even with two cats. PS. MY CATS TOOK TO THIS LITTER BOX IN A COUPLE OF DAYS AND HAVE USED IT EVER SENSE WITH NO ISSUES though i kept one of their previous litter boxes next to it for a week.. i just put new litter plus a little of their used but scooped litter in with it st first… So that’s my update. Feel free to ask questions.. I don’t look in this comment section very often but I saw that somebody was asking for an update. I got mine on Amazon when they were having a special so even the cost was not anywhere near the little robot cost, but I would say that having seen one up close, the litter robot has the kind of rubber inside the drum that I think you would have a lot more problems with cat waste sticking to then the inside of the meowant which has a smooth plastic surface except in the part of the drum where the clean litter is… that small part of the whole drum has the rubbery coating the whole inside of the litter robot does… stuff doesn’t stick to that bottom part because its covered with litter. Tip is to make sure not to under or overfill the part the litter is inside the box …. By the way i have two ragdoll cats which are larger and very long haired. Works great in the regular size meowant … i was worried they would need the XL initially…
You can use small trash bags, but it can be hard to find one that’s long enough, I’ve noticed if I do use small trash bags or the bag is too big it can get caught in the rotations. So honestly just buy the recommended bags, if you buy in bulk it really isn’t that expensive and saves on hassle allot!
@@leanemiles7885 they’re thicker and fit perfectly. I’m also thus far saving by far on my litter which is so pricey but works for my particular breed of cat so it’s a win win I think even ordering the liners. Plus Amazon has deals on multiple boxes of liners and the deodorizing gel bars that fit in the waste bin …
I’m about to switch to crystal littles with my meowwant and from what I read on their website pretty litter and any Silica Gel litter should work fine in it!
@@TheChardluz I was so worried about that as my younger cat just is naturally a little on that side of softer stools but thus far notta. No problem and this for her is a miracle. I set the timer on the clean cycle to 12 minutes pause before cats exit to cleaning cycle. Also I use a super clump litter but safe for cats litter called Sustainably Yours. Very pricey in the old litter boxes (I had two jumbo boxes) but this used comparatively little and works so well and so far nothing is sticking to the grate or the sides of the drum partly because unlike the litter robot brand this only has the soft rubber on the bottom but not all round the drum like the LR. Hope this helps and I am new to this. About a week so can update later.

Do you have to use the app to use it? Can you just let the box work on its own?
Does it have a feature to empty the entire contents?
Yea it has a button to dump all the litter.
What's the size ? May be too big for the bathroom.
It's slightly bigger than a mini fridge.
