Etchr Lab Signature Series (2021): Sketchbook review

An in-depth look at the Etchr Lab Signature Series sketchbook. This is their most expensive sketchbook and costs around 70€ / $75 / £60.

@@wingedjedi_art yes I do actually, the hot pressed and cold pressed. I have the accordion one as well, but have yet to try that one. I felt exactly the same way about the left side and the seepage issue. I have heard that with a lot of use the sketchbooks one level down tend to fall apart binding wise after a lot of use. But I like Etchr as a brand. I loved your review on the Schmincke Naturals and want to give them a try. I have all of the colors, but I'm ordering the high white paper on your advice about their streaking. Your Star Wars portraits are really beautiful.

I'm glad your experiences match my own, because every time I do a review for art supplies I'm a little worried that maybe I'm just using them wrong or something. 😅 I did several paintings on this paper before I felt sure. I do like Etchr as a brand as well. I have some new markers that I think will work well on the back sides of the paper.
I would love to hear what you think about the Schmincke Naturals later! If you let the paints dry in a palette, they will also be a little less streaky when you rewet them.
