Hi, thanks for the helpful videos. Really great help as we are doing up our first home! could you point me towards your video for re-rendering that big missing section of render? Can’t seem to find it and looking to re-render a similar section of our external garden wall soon. Thank you!

Great Video 👍 Question: my house at the (front) is a concrete breeze blocked with rendered on it. What type of black paint would you use at buttom of the house? Bitumen or something else. Thanks Mark

Emperor masonry paint is not a silicate, it's a silicone also they do their own primer. Why would you not use their complete system?

I think your video is great. However. Would it not be easier just to knock the render off and either re render or better still just paint the bricks

Do you use peel stop on newly rendered walls and first painting or just repairs?

only when a surface needs stabilising. Sound render should be fine

@@decoratorsforumuk9036 cheers mucker. Just finished my DIY sand cent rendering. Checking out the Emporer paint now as I worry about breathability and damp.

@@RichardDowd you can't go wrong with Emperor Paints. It's the best on the market in my opinion. Your discount code is Forum5.
If price is a consideration, then Wethertex AP77 is breathable too

Should only use that for oil based paints.

@@Keith-ui4tp if your mixing it into paint yes but its completely fine as primer for water based paints

I haven't made video demo on using render. I could potentially do one in spring. what is it you're struggling with?
