How Thermoguard fire-retardant paint works
Got to be a £200 a day as a decorator at least.
or just fucking brush it?
I don't need to. I've got a paint pad
Show the vid where you use render then!
I haven't made video demo on using render. I could potentially do one in spring. what is it you're struggling with?
Decorators forum uk
Haha love it!
Greetings from Belgium. I got a painting firm and I charge €45/HOUR. A good craftsman isn't cheap...
Awesome, than you for your comment
Really impressive finish and so inspiring! Noticed the steps taken in the article and would be interested to know how long it took to complete.
Great video! What PVA to paint ratio should I use?
Great video. Really helped me fill my crack. Two fingers did the job.
There’s not many one man bands on more than £200 a day depends which part of the country you live in
@@kevinjackson6387 I don't think you're right there. You can sub for someone else and bring that sort of money in, so what's the point in working for yourself if you can't charge accordingly?

Hi I Love your work and l know your daughter from Tallulah
£200 a day is about the lowest rate that makes it worthwhile. Below that you may as well work in a shop and do homers and side jobs IMO.
I’ve done it but… not an entire bottle of food dye… wtf
What a cracking video mate
Painters , Decs , gold leaf applicators . You will know how much labour goes into Decorating some properties its not easy . In London you will earn 250/ 450 pounds a day before expenses if you price up your jobs correctly . For that money you will need to be efficient and work hard. For those who think its easy i will let you do a day with me on a labour intensive project . Trust me after a days work and 175 pounds in your pocket you will not want to come back. Its not for everyone and involves so much more than slinging a paint brush.
Wow, is that a spray finish?
Lovely finish on that. I do like miranol, lovely to work with.
Nice will give it a try. Hope the door is dry with that four legged duster brush walking by.
Some fuknnnn finish on that 😊
If you're doing £150 a day running a business.... You're the busy fools
Thank you for this tip. Now I know why after two years my paint bubbled. Plus caused damp from upstairs window sill, it leaked through the wall down to my living room upper corner. All makes sense 👍🏼
What colour did you use please
Can it go straight on to plasterboard on a ceiling?
Yeah crack on. It might dry a bit quick, so if it's a big ceiling, I'd be tempted to seal it first to reduce absorption.
Missed a bit of filling on that wall ,bottom left😂
@@TheSmithyt typical 🙄 I'll get it on the next coat
That’s his clients machine😂😂
😂😂 people taking this seriously in the comment's
Some dont cut in.. esp first on new plaster, due to flashing.. usually we cut in on final ceiling coats after mist / piss coat. All subjective spose but a corner roller is handy..
One more thing I blame these bloody piss arsed programs like changing friggin rooms making it look easy just takes the piss out of professional trade painters
Decorators are just as important as doctors and dentists and the like or the cogs at the top won’t work if there are no cogs at the bottom .....simple ......so British public wise the fcku up this comes from being on the brush for 40 year plus professional
There's been a Mmurder
Looks like you've chucked tomato soup on the ceiling 😂
Wont work, as both edges have to be flat
So you need a bucket blaster after? 🎉
What do you do with the waste water, not down the drain I hope 😂
£250 is the minimum day rate or a very bad day for me.
Cheaper to buy new rollers surely?
I usually stick all my rollers into a big plastic bag and when the bag is full i throw them all into an old washing machine in the garage with a capful of fabric softener. They all come out lovely and fluffy and smell like the chelsea flower show, if there's room i chuck my pants in aswell lol.
Looks like it only coeans 9" rollers ? 15" for workers, 9" for shirkers 👍😂
Have you Zinssered the units or just used water based primer? Kitchen units can be a pain in the back side.
Wow......this is next level 😂😂😂😂
I was told it’s only good on plasterboard
Customer will be happy lol
Have these been shut down due to some kind of patent or copyright laws from one of the ‘big boy’ companies?.. best thing ever for us in the business and they’ve made them somehow disappear like it never happened 🤷🏼♂️
I think it was down to cost, but I'm not sure
@@decoratorsforumuk9036 thanks for replying.. don’t suppose you know if a similar product is currently available from anywhere ? Thanks
I have some bare sandstone that needs painting. What primer and paint should I use?
Seems like you’re adding to your work. I’ve never had a problem spotting where I’ve filled. 😂
No no no....never use Highland spring for your filler, has to brecon carreg.
Fantastic comment
QUICK TIP! Don't use Food colourant, use blue chalk
😂
