Thank you so much! We are thrilled to bits that you watched our coverage and chose to keep checking out our videos. We have one more "end of Spiel season" special coming on Thursday and that's it for another year. Appreciate you 🙏❤️
These caught my eye. I really have to look into Flower Fields, multiplayer Patchwork sounds like such a good idea. Draconis 8 is going to be my go-to for the forseeable future when people, especially teens look into collectable games. I was overjoyed to hear about Neon Hope. It's good to have more LCGs of that style around in general. I was happy when Earthborne Rangers made the big 3 into a big 4, but the tragedy of Earthborne Rangers is that it's the most complex of the 4 LCGs yet it's the one I'd play with my young neices based on the theme and overall concept. It's great Neon Hope went in the opposite direction regarding accessibility, because the other 4 largely cannibalized themselves for players. It's good to have another distinct theme. I hope it does well.
Hey BGC! Appreciate you checking out the video and for your comment! Flower Fields is delightful and I'm so impressed with Draconis 8 and its whole approach, it's very refreshing. Neon Hope is wonderful and I can't wait to get playing the prototype for our preview video, I'm 100% with you and all I wanted from that type of game is MORE not less accessibility. I can't wait for it to hit the market
Yes actually! I think Toben, one of the founders of Hopeful Games made the comparison in our interview video. I've not played Earthborn Rangers so I can't comment from personal experience though I'm afraid. Thanks for checking out the video!
As one of the designers I would describe the similarities and differences the following way. Similar: The way actions are done is flexible and not always attribute specific + Enemies react dynamically to your actions. Different: There is no open world. Scenarios have an episode format that offers variable setup and many branching paths, that cater to different play styles and story decisions.
Loved your Essen coverage! As someone who couldn't be there, I think I watched more coverage on your channel than any other.
