You can see the details about Empath here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empath_(album) I'm sure you can find it on youtube.

Yep...gr8 kit!! My first "real kit" was a 1983 Pearl Export series...metallic blue...(almost purple) ...still, my favorite ever...It was my 16th birthday present...
Thx dad [R.I.P.]
@TwoCats Yelling Yeah it's a crazy drum set-up, but proffessional drummers would figure out how the heck to play that thing
Cause he couldn’t get that if he wanted...
Lmao
Ahhh, the world before Covid, handshakes and hugs for everyone. Various people sharing various instruments without having to disinfect. I miss those days.

Reminds me of that one time I was drafted to Nam back in 1963.
7:08 pocket queen 😍
Kinda just started watching Sam.. Just talented and seems like a real good guy. First time I ever saw him was a piece by piece cover. I’m saying to myself this dude is playing every instrument.. Now that’s talent. I’ll be watching regular like from now on
6:46 pos vamos allá!
Great to meet you at NAMM this year, dude! Keep kicking ass, and hopefully I'll see you back next year ;)
Jack Fliegler is also from Singularity, that second song he played was one from their debut album which is amazing

Excellent Namm tour 66Samus. I'm remember my last Namm tour in 2017.
A lot of kick ass gear this year. I also really appreciate the innovations that companies are doing for the practicing drummer! :)
Chip Ritter is a pretty cool guy. Used to deal with him out here in AZ a bit when I was still running my shop
13:08 Solidrums is a Argentinian Drum Company, So proud to see them on NAMM !!! 🇦🇷
11:20 was a great moment.
On a more 66Samus related note, I guess you shat your pants there because of the sudden shaky cam? :)
Is this an official Track? if its released, does anyone know the name

I ended up talking with Pat at a show in Baltimore on Halloween 2 years ago... i think. He looked exhausted and told me he wanted to go home. He's a good boy 10/10.
Okay, everybody that lives in THIS HOUSE is happy. Okay, there's only 2 of us, but, you know... Anyhow, I'm happy that you blogged, because I just love what you do and how you do it, and my wife loves your dogs. In fact, she was so happy that I showed her the video that there might even be SEX later (oohh yuurrr).
Woah! I was not expecting remco At 24:46 ,he kicks ass on bass!
Patrick Sheridan from Fit For An Autopsy at 23:09. Sick guitarist, and good dude.
I know the African girl at 7:07 she actually has a RUclips channel where she does Hip-Hop drum covers.

Super cool seeing you check out the Beatbox booth, Matt is so chill. ❤️
Rest In Peace Joey
Is that pat sheridan from fit for an autopsy at 23:08 thats my dude right there
It says simplified, but that looks like the kind of kit I'd put together with too much going on. Got my hopes up with, "My First Time" ... well, at NAMM.
20:41 - Rest in Paradise Alexi'
13:08 argentinian drummers Pablo gonzalez y Tomas Sainz, chek them out!!!! At Argentinian drum brand SOLIDRUMS

That first kit. I wonder when they will come up with a motorized throne/rack mechanism to reach those higher tier cymbals.
didnt know youre awesomeness hailed from Canada it all makes sense now. we have the best musicians.
NAMMthrax'd!
21:39 Holy shit, that is awesome.
Check out his band Singularity, straight up best Arizona band.
@@nnfjdhl2179 That part from 21:39, is that a song I can find somewhere?
Not sure about that one, but the next clip is off their debut album I think. search on RUclips "singularity void walker" for their latest EP.

Videos with you BEHIND the camera, always my favorites!
The ESP Section 😍😍😍 (20:26)
I was there last Jan. right before Covid. So fortunate it hadn’t started yet, Can you imagine with sooooo many people so close together, But it was awesome! Got to see Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains and Robbie Krieger from The Doors. Sorry I missed Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden. Thanks for sharing!
thats awesome, thanks for making this video. greetings from vienna mosh city
I could tell by the shuffle before he did the guitars it was Fool in the Rain.
Back in NAMM my buddy Tom-Tom and I were stationed way out in the Sticks. Rain would Splash and thunder Crash.
Drums🥁
This was also my first NAMM... Great memories. Great to meet you too!
Devin - 'Here comes sam...' Holey shit I can't wait for Empath.
That dumb and dumber reference at 2:03 just earned you a sub, my man.
“Sir! You can’t go in there!”
“Its ok! I’m a limo driver!”
I love all the pithy Dumb and Dumber referential music. Much nostalgia. ❤❤❤
Que bien te he visto en ese tour de Namm, un saludo desde Sevilla Makina!!
So many 7 and 8 stringed guitars. I remember back when they only showcased 2, maybe 3 of them.
24:46 Its Remco! Look up Remco's Groove Lab!
Exhausting just watching the video... information overload. Can't imagine being there. My mind would melt.
5:22 WTF! That's some crazy shit right there lol 😳
NAMM - the place you realize there are billion other musicians out there better than you :(
Bro, take it as a incentive to get better!
@@Kuroiwa1988 im so proud of this community
claysmell World full of shredders and no music unfortunately like the 70s.
My Uncle is one of those.
I've been playing guitar for over a decade. I'm not great because I have some fine motor skill issues which makes picking weird sometimes, but I can jam and groove pretty well.
Que in my uncle, he said he wanted to start playing about 2 years ago and I gave him one of my guitars and a USB interface.
We went to NAMM this year.
I, although I've played for a lot of years, never, ever played in front of any audience. I jammed with some friends and that's about it. I have extreme stage fright/performance anxiety (partly because of my motor issues).
So, back to NAMM earlier this year. I hadn't seen him in a while and he was talking about the gear he had bought throughout the past year. About 15 guitars, a drum kit, a couple bass guitars and a variety of amps, pedals and speakers which pretty much rounds out anyones "I want that" list of historically best gear out there.
He sits down at a booth, picks up a guitar and fucking made me reconsider ever picking up a guitar again.
He destroyed my spirit with what he has managed to learn in the past year, at 67 years of age.
He's a natural and I'm sure if he had gotten into music when he was in his 20's, he'd have been a musician instead of a banker.
Yes, In Music, There's no "God" of Instrument. They Just Got Another Guy Who Played Well Than You
Man, I wanted to go sooooooo Bad, Glad you finally got to go. Love your teaching videos too...
13:08 the two Argentina's finest drummers there
I just love this guy.. this is probably my favorite NAMM video👊
I want to go to NAMM now. Thanks for sharing Samus!
