A massive thank you to the best tubs in the nation-Ludwig -for always delivering the goods. Let’s keep making music and pushing boundaries! #WheresJared? #Drumeo #LudwigDrums #DrummingDreams
Dear Drumeo producers… the behind the scenes gang… we see you. You’re doing some of the best content on RUclips. The narrative stakes in this video are more clearly executed than half the garbage on Netflix/cable.
Such a fun video to film and you crushed the final solo!! Thanks for trusting me (and Drumeo) to help you reach your goal 🙏🏻🥁 Pizzas at my house next time?😉
Don't have Drum membership (yet), but all the stuff John wanted to learn and he wrote on his drum head would be in the membership site? Perhaps a Stamos section? I would be happy to find that stuff & woodshed on it. Awesome video.
Such an epic video. And you got to play with the Beach Boys just like John did way back when! One thing that would've had me dying laughing is if you'd have put a clip in the outro from someone on their cell phone sneakily recording you freaking out on John, throwing a stick at him between scenes like he was saying, similar to the outro of the new Deadpool 3 where Johnny Storm was actually talking smack 😄😄
"Don't touch my hair." He's so uncle Jesse. That moment with Sammy Davis Jr. is a beautiful moment. It's easy to look at someone portraying a working musician on a sitcom and think "nah he's not a real musician, he's just pretending." But that scenario with Sammy, and at such a young age, that took guts. That's something only a real drummer could do. John Stamos as Jesse was one of my earliest examples of a working musician, even a struggling one, still being the coolest job in the world.
The Sammy Davis Jr. story is pretty cool. I love how he surprised him probably so he wouldn't freak out thinking about it in advance. My brother in law was Sammy's cousin so I hits close to home. He must have told the director if they didn't let John play with him he was going to split.
Stamos is such a cool dude! I ran into him outside the bathroom at Disney and literally just said "Mr Stamos." He replied with "Whats goin on man!?" It was so uneventful and awesome at the same time. Dude was dressed to the nines and as cool as you'd expect. Respect.

I've been playing for 12 years now, and since I'm self taught I've never really payed attention to practice. I fell out of love with music so I stopped for about 4 years and then I found this channel. And because of this channel I decided to start practicing 5 months ago. I thought it was gonna be a pain in the ass since I had to learn the basics again. But man, I can't tell you how much I've improved in a matter of months because of you. It's just mind blowing!! Truly the best channel for drummers.
I haven’t played drums in over 15 years because of alcohol and drug addiction. One I hit rehab, I went back to school and got my masters and a great paying job. Been sober for about 8 years and even with a family, home, and god life, I feel something missing. It’s the drums, because I went back to Guitar Center to have my 5 year old take drum lessons. I immediately felt something I have not felt in SOOO LOONG. The feel is the sticks and drums banging together just makes you feel alive and I felt like a kid at a playground. My daughter looks at me with her eyes and she says “dad you’re really good”. I’m getting back into drumming because it’s not only something that is great for my mental health, but a technique I will use to connect with my daughter and myself once more.
You wanna know why this video is epic? Because John's just a human drummer. He is a mortal drummer, like most of your audience. Seeing you guys work with these cyborgs capable of impossible time signatures at superhuman tempos has almost made me quit drumming before. I watched every minute of this video and bookmarked it. John's process is no different from mine, and I imagine, similar to the majority of your audience. It's like, "oh yeah, I just need to organize my thoughts and come up with a series of skills I need to practice. Grind a couple weeks...and voila, I'm better!" A heartfelt thank you from a guy in his 40's who's grown a bit tired of trying to emulate dudes that are from different planets. Keeping it simple can be awesome, too. Cheers!
Uncle Jessie smashed it!! John seems like a nice dude and certainly can play. Those fast triplets around the kit during the TayTay and Bonzo parts of his solo ripped. Control and dynamics were spot on too. Thanks John, Brandon and Drumeo for a rad little watch this morning!
He is such a better player than I ever gave him credit for. he could always play but to see where he is now and know he still has a passion for music. awesome!
Its also really cool to hear the beach boys story. I mean I don't listen to that shit but I respect it. John was always my fave character on full house.
This is absolutely brilliant, much respect to John for opening up and sharing. Congratulations to Brandon for showing how a good teacher shows patience and encourages without sounding condescending. Please do more content like this.
What a seriously fantastic episode. Stamos is a fun guy and can definitely deliver the goods. Brandon is a natural on camera and the channel keeps getting better and better. Bravo to everyone involved in bringing this high quality entertaining and educational material.

Of course we all know who Stamos is. But honestly, I had NO IDEA he was a drummer, this is the first I've learned about it. A new found respect! Great work, John!
Wow, that was intense! I watched Full House and always kind of liked John for his acting, but totally forgot about he is a drummer as well. Great job Mr. S!! I’m home recovering from 2 major spine surgeries, involving a titanium cage around my spine. I won’t lie, major depression set in, but I think I’m getting better. Now 16 months later I’m back on the kit. I’m really hoping I can get back to the drummer I once was, lots of rehab!! 🥁
All the best man, good to hear your getting back, from your back. Wow taught by a legend. Yeah these guys are so inspiring, and remind us to enjoy the whole process of making music.

That was WAY more fun than it needed to be. Grew up watching him on Full House in the 90s, so cool to see him still crushing it. The metronome malfunction was amazing, but the editing made it much more funny. Great work.
A drum teacher once told me, "Learn to love practice. It's what you'll spend most of your time on the kit doing." So glad I took that advice. It's paying off now that I'm back behind a kit after many years of frame and goblet drumming. Your "celebrity" videos are entertaining to say the least.
This was such a fun video. I love his sense of humor. I feel that im the same way, especially when the nerves kick in. We are serious in our own way even if we joke a lot. This was such a different side of him to see, and I really enjoyed it. He really naiked that drum solo. John, you're awesome, broski. Dont ever change.
This video is just beautiful on every level. John has had a dream life. Imagine getting your start with Sammy Davis Jr and then moving on to playing with the beach boys. Just beautiful on every level. The Taylor Hawkins tribute also brought a tear to my eye.

Love it. This is not only testament to John's diligence and work ethic, but the level of dedication it takes for a short moment on stage to really coalesce. The audience sees nothing but the performance, but we as musicians, producers, engineers, etc., know that a *ton* of practice and effort has gone into making this happen across many days and nights beforehand. It's the old adage "it only took 15 years to find my 15 minutes of fame" (or something like that).

What a great video! Met John Stamos years back, and he was such a great sport to come on stage and play a couple of tunes on my set with our band. Love the photo I have of that memory! He's the real deal!!
You guys are livin' the dream! Great solo, John! And great job to Drumeo for continuing to deliver awesome content! You guys deserve all the success you're seeing. Keep it up!
True story, Stamos was a major musical inspiration for me when I was younger. He was the first musician that played multiple instruments and showed you don’t have to choose just 1.
Drumeo videos are what keep me coming back to the Internet, a place that is so often a cesspool, but you guys make inspiring and incredibly entertaining content to balance it all out. Cheers and thank you!
i became a musician way back in the 60's, because of Dennis Wilson ! I played drums for many years then switched to guitar in my 30's, but I still have a full set of drums upstairs and play as often as I can. John, I can't think of a better person to inspire youngsters like Dennis did then you. Awesome job work'n so hard to get it right !
Having not really watched anything Stamos was in, I honestly didn't think I would enjoy this video nearly 1/10 as much as I did. Well done, Drumeo and John! I'm a Stamos fan now.

I haven't smiled this much during one of Drumeo's videos in a long time haha I am usually laser focused on learning something new but this was just fun! Awesome footage!
Stamos has been winning at life.
John Stamos is such a cool character. I sure hope we get more videos like this!
Started watching Full House when it first aired, and I’ve been a fan of Stamos since. This was wonderful, THANK YOU!
66Stamos 🥁

I have never played drums a day in my life, but I am absolutely obsessed with this channel, and that's a testament to the quality of the content Drumeo puts out. Y'all are killing it. It's genuinely captivating stuff!
He is funnier than I thought... He's a comedian! And a drummer! And an actor! And a good looking fella
Im 37 and had no idea. It's amazing to hear how cool and down to earth he is. The world of music is full of surprises sometimes
You are both awesome. Great stories and instructions! Not a drummer today but I can envision a kit in the future!
What a great video! Met John Stamos years back, and he was such a great sport to come on stage and play a couple of tunes on my set with our band. Love the photo I have of that memory! He's the real deal!!
Uncle Jesse and Drumeo! A Christmas miracle! Have mercy.
You guys are livin' the dream! Great solo, John! And great job to Drumeo for continuing to deliver awesome content! You guys deserve all the success you're seeing. Keep it up!
John Stamos is like a Steve Carrel from the multiverse
Wow great observation. Same energy!
@deputyrock3489 yeah! Same energy!
True story, Stamos was a major musical inspiration for me when I was younger. He was the first musician that played multiple instruments and showed you don’t have to choose just 1.
Fantastic video. well done both of you . John Stamos - talent .. that was great 😄👍
Drumeo videos are what keep me coming back to the Internet, a place that is so often a cesspool, but you guys make inspiring and incredibly entertaining content to balance it all out. Cheers and thank you!
Dude can shred !
I love what you guys do normally, but there’s a lot about this episode that’s turned up a notch and so kick ass
Drumeo 🤝John Stamos
This was one of the best videos I have watched all year!
Dude. Just to see a fucking Taylor Hawkin's clip I haven't already seen on the internet... holy shit. Thank you
i became a musician way back in the 60's, because of Dennis Wilson ! I played drums for many years then switched to guitar in my 30's, but I still have a full set of drums upstairs and play as often as I can.
John, I can't think of a better person to inspire youngsters like Dennis did then you. Awesome job work'n so hard to get it right !
John has some skills 🤘
Having not really watched anything Stamos was in, I honestly didn't think I would enjoy this video nearly 1/10 as much as I did. Well done, Drumeo and John! I'm a Stamos fan now.
Very Cool John! Congrats! I loved it!
Taylor Hawkins is the reason I began my drumming journey. Wherever I hear his drum lick it always reminded me that Taylor is truly one of the greatest drummers of all time. RIP Taylor Hawkins and Fly High 🦅🥁🪽
That Sammy Davis Jr. story is great...✌️
The look on Sammy’s face!! You can tell he went from “ok, well just stumble through this scene and give the kid his wish” to “wow, the kid can play!!”
John still the man!
My short attention span legit enjoyed every second of that. Have always loved Stamos, now i love him even more. Great job Drumeo. Thank you so much ❤
Uncle Jesse shreds 🤘
