Ben fought a bear just before the lecture, left arm reattached. You can see it on the bear's stream.

Since you are a big fan of Morphy you should do a game review of Fischer vs Addison 1970 as this game is very much in the style of Morphy.

Ben's memory is amazing. He recalls a random game from his 1500 student and also in which city it was played (7:30)

He probably looked at the game when preparing for this lecture. Or maybe he just has a great memory like most GMs.

39:55 Grandmaster Finegold how about Q×a4? still defends c2, saves the queen and the bishop well it's defended by the rook indirectly anyway..

Well that is a good question. First I thought 1.Qxa4 Nxf4 2.Rxa5 Re2 wins easily as there exactly are no any back rank issues. But then I noticed 3.Rc5!. Nevertheless it seems to me white is the one who has problem with his rooks and black still has a win there: 3...Nd3+! 4.cxd3 Qg5+ or 4.Rxd3 Qg1+.

@@HiReeZin hmm.. so white is in a bad situation regardless of how he defends the position.. thanks for your reply
